Insoma Water Timer for Garden Hose — Brass Inlet, Battery-Powered Automatic Timer with Rain Delay

This compact, weather-resistant timer connects directly to a standard outdoor faucet and automates watering cycles so plants get consistent hydration without daily attention. Designed for homeowners, gardeners and small-scale growers, the Insoma timer combines a metal-threaded brass inlet, an easy dial-and-button interface, and an enlarged LCD to simplify programming and extend service life compared with plastic-only designs.

How do I program watering frequency, duration and start times?

Programming uses a simple rotate-and-press method: set the clock, choose how often (frequency), pick watering duration, and select a start time. The range covers short intervals to multi-day schedules, so you can create recurring or occasional runs to suit different plants.

• Frequency options: from 1 minute to 23:59 hours or 1–7 days
• Duration options: 1 minute up to 23:59 hours
• Start time selection for single or repeating daily runs

What modes are available and when should I use them?

The timer offers three modes: AUTO runs programmed schedules, MANUAL lets you activate the faucet instantly for a set period, and RAIN DELAY pauses automatic watering when you expect wet weather. Use AUTO for routine care, MANUAL for ad-hoc tasks, and RAIN DELAY to prevent overwatering after storms.

• AUTO: follows stored programs for unattended watering
• MANUAL: immediate watering from 1 minute to 23:59 hours
• RAIN DELAY: suspend schedules for 1–7 days to conserve water

How durable and weather-resistant is the Insoma timer?

Key components are upgraded for outdoor use: the inlet is 100% brass with metal threading, the case uses IP55-grade materials and the battery cover includes a sealing ring for improved splash protection. A built-in metal filter blocks grit, while the construction handles pressures up to 116 psi without cracking.

• Brass inlet and metal thread resist heat and deformation
• IP55 water-resistant housing plus sealed battery cover
• Metal filter prevents sediment from entering irrigation lines

Who is this for?

This Insoma water timer suits homeowners, renters with outdoor faucets, small-scale landscapers and greenhouse users who want dependable automated irrigation without wiring. It's ideal if you need clear on-device controls, robust plumbing connections, and simple rain-delay or manual override options. Use it for lawns, flower beds, vegetable plots, greenhouse misting and other small irrigation setups where durability and easy programming matter.
