Orbit One Outlet Single‑Dial Hose Faucet Timer - LCD Display, Brass Swivel, Easy Programmable

The Orbit One Outlet Single‑Dial Hose Faucet Timer is a battery‑powered device that turns an outdoor spigot into a simple programmable watering timer with an easy single‑dial setup and large LCD display.

Set up takes minutes: attach the timer to a standard faucet, insert batteries, and use the single‑dial interface to pick start times, run lengths, and frequency. The unit stores settings during battery changes, has a rain delay option for 24, 48, or 72 hours, and connects via a brass swivel for weather‑resistant durability. Its straightforward controls make it suitable for lawns, flower beds, container gardens, and temporary sprinkler hookups when you want consistent watering without daily attention.

How do I program the watering schedule with just one dial?

Programming uses a single rotary control plus the LCD to cycle through start time, duration, and frequency. Each turn of the dial selects the parameter, and the display confirms your choice so you can quickly finish setup without a manual full of steps.

• Single‑dial design advances through start time, run time, and interval.
• Large LCD shows chosen values for clear confirmation.
• Common presets let you save time during first setup.

Will this timer help reduce wasted water?

The timer provides precise control over when and how long your faucet runs, which can limit overwatering compared with manual hose use. Combined with the rain delay feature, the timer prevents scheduled cycles when weather makes extra watering unnecessary.

• Set exact run times to match plant needs instead of guessing.
• Rain delay pauses automatic cycles for 24, 48, or 72 hours.
• Consistent schedules avoid frequent short hand‑watering sessions that increase waste.

Is the Orbit timer durable enough for outdoor use?

The unit is built with a brass swivel faucet connector and weather‑resistant housing designed for year‑round outdoor exposure. Its construction focuses on reliability so the timer can withstand typical garden conditions while maintaining a dependable connection to the spigot.

• Brass swivel provides a secure, corrosion‑resistant faucet connection.
• Weatherproof materials protect internal electronics from the elements.
• Battery backup retains programmed schedules during replacements.

What features help when weather or schedules change?

The timer includes a multi‑day rain delay, and the easy digital interface makes quick adjustments practical when seasonal or short‑term changes are needed. You can temporarily suspend watering without deleting your core schedule.

• Rain delay options: 24, 48, or 72 hours to avoid unnecessary watering.
• Battery memory keeps programs intact during routine maintenance.
• Fast reprogramming via dial if you change watering frequency.
