RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer with Brass Swivel Inlet — Brass 1-Valve Outdoor Hose Timer, Large LCD & Programmable Schedules

RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer with Brass Swivel is a programmable hose faucet timer built with a 100% brass inlet and large LCD to automate watering schedules for gardens, lawns, and yards.

This compact outdoor timer combines robust metal plumbing connections with flexible scheduling options so you can water reliably without daily attention. The upgraded brass inlet and metal thread increase durability under pressure, while the intuitive LCD and programming modes let you create precise watering cycles, pause for rain, or run manual sessions whenever needed.

How does the brass swivel inlet improve durability and leak resistance?

The timer uses a pure brass water inlet and metal thread that resists corrosion and handles higher pressure than plastic fittings. A built-in metal-filter gasket screens out sediment to protect downstream irrigation components and reduce clogs.

• 100% brass inlet and metal thread for long-lasting wear
• Withstands up to 116 psi operating pressure
• Integrated metal filter gasket prevents debris entry
• Reduces risk of leaks compared with softer plastic connectors

What programming options let me tailor watering to my landscape?

The RAINPOINT timer offers flexible start times, durations from one minute up to 3 hours 59 minutes for scheduled runs, and frequency settings from hourly intervals to once every seven days. This range makes it easy to adapt watering for new plantings, lawn maintenance, or potted containers.

• Set specific Start Times to match cooler parts of the day
• Duration adjustable between 1 minute and 3h59min for scheduled runs
• Frequency options from 1 hour to 12 hours, or 1–7 days
• Fine control avoids overwatering and saves water

How do rain delay and manual modes work in real use?

Rain delay pauses automatic watering for 24, 48, or 72 hours so you don’t need to erase programs when wet weather arrives. Manual mode lets you activate the hose immediately for any length of time between 1 minute and 8 hours without disturbing the stored schedule.

• Rain delay prevents unnecessary watering after storms
• Manual run from 1 minute up to 8 hours for spot watering
• Automatic schedule resumes after the chosen delay period
• Useful for hand-watering seedlings or power-washing tasks

Is the display and interface easy to read and set up outdoors?

The large LCD clearly shows watering duration, frequency, power status, and active programs, making it simple to check or adjust settings at a glance. Buttons and menus are designed for straightforward programming so you can set or modify schedules without needing a manual every time.

• Big LCD presents essential information clearly
• Simple controls for quick setup and adjustments
• Readable in typical daylight for outdoor use
• Battery-powered operation avoids extra wiring
