Orbit B-hyve XD 2-Port Smart Hose Watering Timer - Dual-Outlet, Weatherproof, App & Bluetooth Control

The Orbit B-hyve XD 2-Port Smart Hose Watering Timer is a dual-outlet, app-controlled irrigation timer that automates and adjusts outdoor watering based on local weather.

Manage two independent watering zones from your smartphone with a weather-aware, battery-powered controller made for outdoor use. The B-hyve XD combines Bluetooth programming with optional Wi‑Fi via a compatible hub, so you can schedule, monitor, and tweak watering from home or away. Its rugged, weatherproof enclosure and two separate outlets let you run dedicated schedules for flower beds, vegetable plots, containers, or lawn sections without multiple manual timers.

How does the dual-outlet design make yard watering simpler?

The two independent ports let you run separate cycles and durations simultaneously or staggered, so different plantings get tailored irrigation. That avoids overwatering delicate beds while giving thirsty turf longer run times.

• Control two hoses or irrigation lines from a single unit
• Set distinct start times and durations per outlet
• Run overlapping or alternating schedules for efficient coverage
• Eliminate the need for multiple timers at one faucet

What smart features help save water and time?

B-hyve XD uses local weather inputs and drought-aware logic to automatically modify watering durations so you don’t waste water after rain or during cool spells. The app also stores schedules and recent runtime history so adjustments are quick.

• Weather-based adjustments reduce unnecessary watering
• Automated drought routines cut back during dry restrictions
• Bluetooth setup plus optional Wi‑Fi hub for remote access
• Save and reuse custom schedules for seasonal changes

How do I control and set up the timer?

Initial setup is done through the B-hyve mobile app over Bluetooth; pairing is straightforward and guided. If you add a compatible Wi‑Fi hub, you can manage the timer remotely and receive status updates without being in Bluetooth range.

• Simple Bluetooth pairing via the mobile app
• Optional Wi‑Fi hub enables remote control and notifications
• Intuitive schedule editor for start times, run lengths, repeat days
• On-device manual start/stop buttons for quick local control

Is the timer built to handle outdoor conditions?

The housing is weather-resistant and designed to withstand typical outdoor exposure while protecting electronics and batteries. The construction focuses on long-term performance for seasonal use in gardens and landscapes.

• Weatherproof enclosure keeps moisture out of electronics
• Battery-powered operation for locations without power access
• Durable valves and ports for garden hose connections
• Backed by a two-year limited warranty for peace of mind

Who is this for? Homeowners, gardeners, and small-landscape managers who want precise, low-effort irrigation control across multiple zones will find the Orbit B-hyve XD ideal. It fits yards that need separate watering patterns — such as mixed beds, lawns, and container gardens — and appeals to anyone who prefers scheduling and water-saving automation from a phone. If you have a single outdoor faucet and want to simplify watering for two distinct areas with smart controls, this dual-outlet, weather-aware timer delivers a practical solution without complex installation.
