ELPHECO Black Motion Sensor Trash Can — 2-Gallon Slim Waterproof Automatic Bin with Lid

This compact waste container pairs a narrow footprint with motion-activated convenience so you can dispose of small items without touching the lid. The matte black finish blends with modern decor, while the IPX5 waterproof rating and upgraded bag ring make everyday use cleaner and more reliable. It runs on two AA batteries and is sized to tuck into corners, beside sinks, or inside vanities.

How does the motion sensor operate and indicate status?

The sensor detects movement and triggers the lid to open automatically, then closes when motion stops. A visible indicator light shows green while actively opening and red when closing, giving simple feedback about the unit’s state.

• Hands-free opening within sensor range for sanitary disposal
• Green indicator light for active sensing, red for closing
• Requires installation of 2 AA batteries to power the sensor and motor

Will this fit in small bathrooms or narrow spaces?

The bin’s slim dimensions (10" L × 5.3" W × 11.42" H) provide a 2-gallon capacity without taking up much floor area. Its narrow design is made to slide into tight gaps, under counters, or along the side of a toilet or vanity.

• 2-gallon volume for light daily waste
• Compact footprint optimized for constricted areas and small rooms
• Lightweight for easy repositioning and transport

How does the upgraded bag fix and waterproofing improve use?

The improved bag retainer ring keeps trash liners secured and hides the bag edge for a neater appearance. IPX5 waterproof protection shields internal components from splashes and humid bathroom environments, so the exterior rinses clean without damaging the unit.

• Upgraded ring prevents liner slip and creates a tidy rim appearance
• IPX5 waterproof rating protects electronics from water spray
• Easy-to-clean surface that resists visible water spots after rinsing

What maintenance or setup is required to keep it working?

Setup involves inserting two AA batteries and securing a trash bag with the retainer ring. Periodic battery replacement and occasional surface cleaning are the primary maintenance steps to keep the sensor and lid operating smoothly.

• Install 2 AA batteries before first use; follow included bag placement steps
• Replace batteries when sensor response slows or light changes behavior
• Rinse exterior and wipe dry; avoid submerging internal base assembly
