Ninestars 13-Gallon Touchless Motion Sensor Trash Can — Rectangular Stainless Steel, Odor-Sealing Lid

The Ninestars 13 Gallon Automatic Trash Can is a touchless, rectangular stainless-steel garbage bin with an infrared motion sensor and odor-sealing lid for hands-free kitchen use.

Upgrade your kitchen waste routine with a sensor-operated can that combines a large 13-gallon (50L) capacity, a space-saving rectangular profile, and a smudge-resistant stainless-steel finish. Designed to sit flush against counters or islands, this model keeps walkways open while responding instantly to a hand wave. Powered by two D batteries and backed by a two-year support program, it delivers quiet, low-maintenance performance for everyday household use.

How does the motion sensor improve day-to-day kitchen tasks?

The precise infrared sensor opens the lid instantly when it detects motion, eliminating the need to touch the can with messy hands or hot cookware. The rapid response keeps food preparation efficient and minimizes cross-contamination risks on handles and lids in high-traffic moments.

• Instant lid opening with a simple wave for hands-free disposal
• Quiet mechanism that won’t interrupt kitchen conversations
• Reduces contact with germs on the can’s surface

Will the rectangular shape fit my limited kitchen space?

The rectangular body is engineered to maximize internal volume while minimizing the footprint, allowing the can to sit flush against cabinets or kitchen islands. Its straight edges make it easier to tuck into narrow gaps or align with counters compared with round designs.

• 13-gallon (50L) capacity handles bulky waste like takeout containers
• Slim profile conserves floor space and improves traffic flow
• Flat rear panel keeps the can flush against walls and cabinets

How effective is the lid at containing odors and staying clean?

The precision-fit lid closes softly and seals to help capture kitchen smells inside the bin rather than allowing them to spread. The stainless-steel exterior resists fingerprints so the can looks cleaner longer, and a removable liner ring hides bag edges for neater changes.

• Odor-sealing lid design reduces lingering food smells
• Fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish keeps appearance tidy
• Removable liner ring simplifies bag replacement and hides mess

What should I expect for power, noise, and maintenance?

This model runs on two D batteries (not included) and is optimized for low power consumption to last months between battery changes. The motor operates quietly so it won’t disturb conversations, and routine upkeep is limited to wiping the exterior and replacing liners as needed.

• Operates on two D-batteries with up to nine months typical battery life
• Quiet opening and closing mechanism for minimal disruption
• Easy-clean surfaces and simple bag-change process with removable ring
