Yatmung Touchless Bathroom Trash Can — Slim 2.5‑Gallon Motion Sensor Hands‑Free Lid

If you need a discreet, hygienic waste solution for tight rooms, this compact automatic trash can gives you a hands‑free lid, a manual hold option, and a small footprint that fits bathrooms, RVs, and narrow kitchen corners. It operates on 2 AA batteries (not included) and closes automatically to help contain smells and maintain a tidy appearance.

How does the motion sensor keep things germ‑free?

The infrared sensor detects movement and lifts the lid without contact, so you avoid touching the lid after handling waste. The lid automatically shuts after about five seconds, minimizing time open and reducing exposure to odors and airborne particles.

• Infrared motion sensor triggers automatic lid opening.
• Automatic close after approximately 5 seconds to limit exposure.
• Hands‑free operation reduces repeated contact with the bin.
• Works well for quick, frequent use in bathrooms and kitchens.

What size is this bin and where will it fit?

With external dimensions of roughly 12.6 inches long by 5.9 inches wide, the 2.5‑gallon capacity is tailored for confined spaces. Its slim rectangular profile is designed to slide beside toilets, under narrow counters, or within RV and office nooks where standard cans won’t fit.

Can I control the lid manually or adjust how it opens?

Yes — the bin includes a manual mode in addition to the sensor. Use the ▲ button to lock the lid open for continuous access and press the ▼ button to close it, giving flexibility for different tasks like cleaning or when you need the lid held open.

• Manual ▲ button keeps lid open for extended tasks.
• Manual ▼ button closes lid immediately when needed.
• Switch easily between touchless and manual modes depending on use.
• Buttons are intuitive and located for quick operation.

How do I clean and manage odors from this trash can?

The smooth plastic exterior wipes clean with a damp cloth, and the tight‑closing lid helps isolate smells inside the bin. Regular emptying and keeping the lid closed are the easiest steps to control odors in compact rooms.

• Plastic body wipes clean quickly with a rag or sponge.
• Close‑fitting lid reduces odor escape into the room.
• Empty frequently for best odor control in small spaces.
• Battery‑powered lid eliminates wiring and simplifies placement.
