ELPHECO Motion-Sensor Bathroom Trash Can, 2-Gallon Oval Bin in White-Gold — Waterproof, Auto-Lid

The ELPHECO 2-gallon motion-sensor trash can is a compact, waterproof bathroom bin with an automatic lid, bag-fixing liner, and space-saving oval design.

Designed for small bathrooms, vanities, and tight countertops, this white-gold ELPHECO trash can uses an infrared sensor to open quickly and close automatically, while advanced water resistance and a removable inner ring keep maintenance simple. Built from durable ABS plastic with decorative wave stripes, it blends modern styling with practical features like a hidden bag solution and energy-saving sensing technology.

How does the motion sensor work and what powers it?

The bin uses an infrared motion detector that activates the lid when your hand moves above the sensor, then closes automatically after idle time. The sensing logic is calibrated to limit false triggers and extend battery life.

• Infrared sensor activates lid on hand movement
• Lid remains open while motion is detected
• Auto-close after about 5 seconds of no movement
• Operates on 2 AA batteries (not included)

Is this trash can suitable for humid bathroom environments?

Yes — the unit is built to resist moisture and occasional splashes thanks to IPX5-level protection, which prevents water intrusion from low-pressure jets and humid conditions. The exterior also rinses clean without leaving visible water stains.

• IPX5 water-resistant construction for bathroom use
• ABS material resists corrosion and discoloration
• Surface designed to shed water and rinse clean
• Electronic components sealed to reduce moisture damage

How do you manage trash bags and emptying?

A removable inner liner secures garbage bags and hides them from view, making changes quick and tidy. The bin is compatible with ELPHECO code A bags, which are thicker and double-stitched to prevent tears for a neater fit and easier disposal.

• Removable trash-bag fixing ring holds bags in place
• Inner liner lifts out for fast emptying and cleaning
• Recommended: ELPHECO code A bags for best fit
• Oval shape maximizes volume while minimizing footprint

What are the size and style details I should know?

The compact footprint measures 10 inches long by 5.3 inches wide and stands about 11.42 inches high, holding roughly 2 gallons of waste. Its modern oval silhouette, white-gold finish, and subtle wave stripe texture make it suitable for contemporary bathrooms, kitchen corners, or office counters where space is limited.

• Dimensions: 10" L x 5.3" W x 11.42" H
• Capacity: 2 gallons — ideal for small spaces
• Material: durable ABS with decorative wave stripes
• Finish: white-gold for a modern, neutral look
