Utopia Bedding Mattress Protector Full Size (2-Pack) — Zippered 100% Waterproof, Bed Bug & Dust Mite Proof

Keep your full-size mattress (54" x 75") protected from spills, allergens, and pests with this zippered encasement from Utopia Bedding. Designed to fit mattresses up to 13 inches deep, the pack of two gives complete 360° coverage so liquids and tiny intruders can’t reach the sleeper surface. The fabric is smooth and non-crinkling, and a wrap-around zipper secures the cover for a snug, no-shift fit that works in everyday homes with kids, pets, or allergy concerns.

How does this protector guard against spills and stains?

The protector includes a waterproof backing that forms a continuous liquid barrier across the top and sides of your mattress. Liquids bead on the surface rather than soaking through, helping prevent staining and moisture damage to the mattress interior.

• 100% waterproof membrane prevents spills and sweat from reaching the mattress core
• Top fabric is soft and absorbent to trap moisture on the surface
• Sealed zipper closure keeps liquids from entering through seams

Will it stop bed bugs and dust mites from reaching the mattress?

This zippered encasement fully surrounds the mattress and closes with a secure wrap-around zipper to limit gaps that pests and allergens use to enter. When installed correctly, it creates a continuous barrier against dust mites and bed bugs, reducing exposure and helping maintain a cleaner sleep surface.

• Six-sided coverage (top, bottom, and all sides) prevents entry points
• Tight zipper seal minimizes gaps where insects or allergens could pass
• Machine-washable material makes it easy to keep allergen load low

How comfortable and durable is the fabric for nightly use?

The protector is made from a knitted polyester that lays flat and stays quiet—no crinkling or stiff textures—so it won’t interfere with mattress comfort. The material is also designed to stretch over the mattress and tolerate regular machine washing without losing shape or protective performance.

• Soft, non-crinkling polyester for a quiet sleep surface
• Stretchy knit fabric fits up to 13" mattress depth and resists shifting
• Durable construction holds up to repeated washing and daily use

How do I care for the mattress encasement and install it correctly?

Installation is straightforward: slip the cover over the mattress and zip the wrap-around zipper closed for full encasement. For cleaning, the protector can be machine washed and tumble dried on low heat—follow normal laundry practices to maintain its waterproof and hypoallergenic properties.

• Refer to the included installation video or guide for step-by-step help
• Machine wash cold, tumble dry low to preserve the waterproof membrane
• Pack of 2 offers a spare while one is in the wash
