Utopia Bedding Bamboo Viscose Waterproof Mattress Protector — Queen 60x80, 17" Deep Pocket, Breathable

Utopia Bedding's Bamboo Viscose Waterproof Mattress Protector is a soft, breathable, fitted queen-size protector with a waterproof barrier that fits mattresses up to 17 inches deep.

Protect your mattress without sacrificing comfort: this queen-size (60 x 80 in) protector blends a 200 GSM bamboo viscose sleep surface with a quiet waterproof layer underneath and an all-around elastic fitted skirt to hold it securely on deep mattresses. The fabric is designed to feel smooth and cool to the touch while guarding against spills, perspiration, dust and everyday wear.

How does this protector keep my mattress dry without feeling plastic?

The protector uses a breathable waterproof backing beneath the bamboo viscose top, creating a barrier that blocks liquids but avoids the crinkly, non-breathable feel of cheap vinyl. The viscose surface wicks moisture away from the skin so you stay more comfortable through the night.

• 200 GSM bamboo viscose top for softness and moisture management
• Quiet, breathable waterproof layer for liquid protection
• Prevents stains and extends mattress life without noisy barrier materials

Will it fit my bed with deep pillow-top or hybrid mattress?

Yes — the protector is designed as a fitted cover for queen mattresses and accommodates mattresses up to 17 inches deep using elastic all the way around the skirt. The stretch and deep pocket design keep it snug and prevent shifting during use.

• Queen size: 60 x 80 inches
• Fits mattresses up to 17 inches deep
• All-around elastic for a secure, non-slip fit

How do I clean and care for this mattress protector?

Care is straightforward: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat. Avoid ironing, bleach, and fabric softener to preserve the bamboo viscose feel and waterproof backing.

• Machine wash cold, gentle cycle
• Tumble dry low; do not iron
• Avoid bleach and fabric softeners to maintain performance

Will this change how my sheets fit or feel?

The low-profile fitted design keeps the protector close to the mattress so your fitted sheets fit as usual and the bamboo surface adds a soft, smooth layer under your sheets without bulk. It's thin enough to be compatible with most fitted sheets and bedding setups.

• Thin, fitted profile preserves original sheet fit
• Soft bamboo surface adds a cooler, smoother feel
• Works with mattress toppers and protectors up to 17" depth

Who this protector is for: ideal for anyone who wants everyday waterproof protection without sacrificing the feel of their mattress — especially hot sleepers or those with deep mattresses, parents protecting against spills, pet owners, or anyone looking to prolong mattress life. The easy-care design also suits busy households and rental properties where practical, comfortable protection is a priority.
