FROG Chlorine Cartridges Bac Pac Replacement 3-Pack — Prefilled for Consistent Dosing

FROG Bac Pac replacement cartridges are prefilled trichlor chlorine cartridges designed to slide into Pool FROG Model 5400 and 6100 cyclers for steady, measured pool sanitizing.

Keep your pool water clear and balanced without measuring powdered chemicals. These FROG Bac Pacs come ready to use and fit directly into compatible Pool FROG cyclers so you get predictable chlorine delivery that pairs with FROG’s mineral system. Each cartridge contains a consistent dose of trichlor so the cycler dispenses only what’s needed to maintain sanitation, simplifying weekly maintenance.

How do these cartridges work with my Pool FROG cycler?

The Bac Pacs lock into the cycler housing and dissolve slowly, releasing trichlor in a controlled manner. The cycler regulates how much sanitizer enters the pool water based on flow and setting, so you avoid over- or under-dosing compared with adding loose tablets.

• Prefilled with a precise amount of trichlor for consistent output
• Designed to fit Model 5400 and 6100 cycler housings securely
• Simple swap-in replacement—no measuring or loose tablets

How often will I need to replace a Bac Pac cartridge?

Replacement frequency depends on pool size, bather load, and weather, but typical intervals range from weekly to every three weeks. Having a three-pack provides enough cartridges to cover several maintenance cycles so you can keep sanitizer levels steady through peak use periods.

• Expected use: every 1–3 weeks depending on conditions
• Three cartridges included to support multiple replacement cycles
• Check free chlorine regularly to confirm dosing meets your pool’s needs

What are the practical benefits compared with loose chlorine tablets?

Prefilled Bac Pacs remove the need to handle granular or tablet chlorine directly, reducing spills and guesswork. The cycler dispenses only what’s required, which can lower total chlorine use and helps protect swimwear and pool surfaces from excessive chemical exposure.

• Less handling of raw chemicals—safer and cleaner maintenance
• More consistent sanitizer levels vs. manual dosing
• May reduce overall chlorine usage when paired with FROG minerals

Are these cartridges compatible with all pool types and sizes?

These Bac Pacs are intended for use in pools equipped with Pool FROG Model 5400 or 6100 cyclers. They are suitable for most residential pools and work best when combined with FROG mineral technology to complement chlorine dosing.

• Fits specific Pool FROG cycler models—verify compatibility before purchase
• Appropriate for typical backyard pools; adjust replacement interval by pool conditions
• Designed to work with FROG mineral systems for balanced water care
