Avantree E171 3.5mm Wired Earbuds with Mic & Inline Volume Control — Black, Secure Fit & Balanced Sound

The Avantree E171 earbuds are a simple, plug-and-play audio solution for devices with a 3.5mm headphone socket. Built with three sizes of silicone tips and an ear-hook design, they aim to stay secure during movement while delivering balanced sound with emphasis on mids and highs. The cable-mounted controls let you manage playback, adjust volume, and handle calls without touching your device.

Will the Avantree E171 work with my phone or laptop?

Yes, these earbuds are compatible with most gadgets that have a standard 3.5mm AUX jack, including many older smartphones, laptops, desktop PCs and some tablets. They are not compatible with devices that only use Lightning or USB-C connectors unless you use a suitable adapter.

• Compatible: devices with 3.5mm headphone port (phones, laptops, PCs, tablets)
• Not compatible: native Lightning-only or USB-C-only devices without adapter
• Adapters: third-party Lightning/USB-C to 3.5mm adapters may enable use

How comfortable and secure are these earbuds for exercise?

The E171s use an ergonomic earbud shape plus three sizes of silicone tips to help you find a snug fit. An added ear-hook element improves retention during running, gym sessions, or walking, reducing the need to adjust them constantly.

• Three silicone tip sizes for a tailored seal and passive noise reduction
• Ear-hook design helps keep earbuds in place during activity
• Lightweight housing aimed at long-wear comfort

What controls and call features are available on the inline remote?

The inline remote offers multi-function controls for music playback, track skipping, volume adjustments and call handling. It also includes a built-in microphone for voice calls and VOIP use, making it easy to answer and reject calls on the go.

• Play/pause and previous/next track functions
• Volume up/down buttons — note some PC and certain phone model limitations
• Answer/reject calls, activate voice assistant, and redial last number

What sound profile should I expect from the Avantree E171?

The E171s are tuned to provide a balanced listening experience with emphasis on mids and highs while offering solid, controlled bass. If you prefer very strong, booming bass, over-ear or larger bass-focused headphones may be a better match.

• Balanced sound with clarity in vocals and higher frequencies
• Solid bass performance for an in-ear form factor, without exaggerated low end
• Suitable for podcasts, calls, and everyday music listening

Who is this for: The Avantree E171 is aimed at anyone who needs a reliable, no-frills wired headset for devices with a 3.5mm jack — commuters, gym-goers, students, and people who still use legacy audio ports. It’s a practical choice when you want an affordable in-ear option with built-in mic and basic remote controls, especially if you value a secure fit during movement and clear voice calls.
