CMF BY NOTHING Buds 2a are compact wireless earbuds with hybrid active noise cancellation up to 42dB, 12.4mm dynamic drivers, four-mic call clarity, and multi-day battery life for everyday use.

These Buds 2a combine refined industrial design with tuned audio and useful smart features. They pair quickly over Bluetooth 5.4, offer tailored sound via the companion app, and include physical comfort options for long listening sessions. Built with IP54 splash resistance and fast-charge capability, they’re intended for commuters, sport users, and people who take calls on the go.

How effective is the noise cancellation for daily environments?

The hybrid ANC on the Buds 2a is tuned to reduce common background noise like engine hum and office chatter up to about 42dB in typical settings. You can switch between ANC strengths or use transparency mode for situational awareness.

• Hybrid ANC rated around 42dB for frequent urban and travel noises
• Adjustable ANC levels via the companion app for custom balance
• Transparency mode to hear announcements or conversations without removing earbuds

What does the sound and hardware setup deliver for music lovers?

Each bud houses a 12.4mm bio-fiber dynamic driver tuned for a warm midrange and punchy low end. DIRAC tuning brings a wider soundstage and refined frequency response; use the app’s EQ to personalize bass, mids, and treble for different genres.

• 12.4mm drivers for impactful bass and clear mids
• DIRAC co-tuning for improved spatial imaging and balance
• Custom EQ presets and user profiles in the app for genre-specific sound

Can these earbuds handle calls, gaming, and multitasking?

The Buds 2a use four microphones with ENC and wind-noise reduction to enhance speech clarity in noisy places. Bluetooth 5.4 supports stable connections, fast pairing with compatible devices, and a low-latency gaming mode for better audio-visual sync.

• Quad-mic setup with Clear Voice Tech for clearer calls outdoors
• Wind Noise Reduction 2.0 to limit interference on walks or rides
• Low-lag gaming mode and dual-device pairing for seamless switching

How long will the battery last during everyday use?

Battery life is designed around typical daily routines. Expect around 8 hours from the earbuds alone and roughly 35.5 hours total with the charging case; quick five-minute charges add near two hours of playback for urgent top-ups.

• Earbuds: approximately 8 hours per single charge under normal listening
• With charging case: up to about 35.5 hours total endurance
• Quick-charge: ~2 hours of playback from a 5-minute charge for fast recovery

Who is this for: The CMF BY NOTHING Buds 2a suit commuters, active users, and listeners who want strong bass response with noise control and app-based customization. They’re a fit for people who value rapid pairing, crisp voice calls, and several days of practical battery life without excessive bulk.
