Veise Keyless Deadbolt Door Lock KS01C Matte Black — Programmable Keypad, Auto-Lock, 20 Codes

The Veise KS01C is a matte-black keyless deadbolt with two knobs that offers programmable keypad access, backup keys, and automatic locking for secure, convenient front-door entry.

Designed for homes and rental properties, the Veise KS01C combines an electronic keypad with traditional keyed backup and interior knobs to deliver flexible access control without sacrificing durability. Built from zinc alloy and rated to withstand weather and daily use, this lock fits most standard US doors and installs with basic tools, making it practical for DIY upgrades or replacing an existing deadbolt.

How does the KS01C let multiple people enter without sharing physical keys?

The lock accepts up to 20 user codes plus one master code, and it also produces unlimited one-time passwords that expire after a single use. You can grant temporary or recurring access to family, guests, cleaners, or service providers without hiding keys under mats.

• Supports 20 user codes and 1 master code
• Generates unlimited one-time passwords that auto-delete
• Includes two physical keys for emergency entry
• Easy code programming and deletion via keypad

What security features protect against code peeking and tampering?

The keypad includes anti-peep functionality so you can add random digits before or after your true code to confuse onlookers. After repeated wrong attempts the system locks out temporarily to deter guessing, and a vacation mode disables all user codes to lock down access.

• Anti-peep entries allow extra random digits
• Three-minute lockout after 10 incorrect attempts
• Vacation mode restricts entry to master code or keys only
• Alarm triggers for forced entry attempts

How does the KS01C handle daily convenience like auto-locking and quiet entry?

Auto-lock can be set to engage 10–99 seconds after the door closes so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to lock. One-touch locking and a quick-turn interior knob make securing the door fast, while a silent mode mutes entry tones when you need discretion.

• Auto-lock delay adjustable from 10 to 99 seconds
• One-touch lock by holding any key for 2 seconds
• Interior knob turns to lock/unlock in about one second
• Silent mode for muted keypad sounds with alerts still active

How reliable is the KS01C for long-term use and in different climates?

This lock meets ANSI/BHMA Grade 3 standards and uses a sturdy zinc-alloy cylinder for everyday durability. Its IP54 weather resistance and wide operating temperature range make it suitable for typical exterior doors in varied climates.

• ANSI/BHMA Grade 3 certified for residential durability
• IP54 protection against dust and splashing water
• Operates between -31°F and 158°F (-35°C to 70°C)
• Powered by four AA batteries with low-power warning and two backup keys

Who is this for: The Veise KS01C is aimed at homeowners, landlords, and short-term rental hosts who want flexible, secure access without managing multiple physical keys. It's a good match for people who prefer a blend of electronic convenience and mechanical backup, anyone seeking a weather-resistant lock for exterior doors, and DIYers who want a quick installation using common tools.
