Veise KS02A Fingerprint Deadbolt Lock Matte Black — Fast AI Recognition, Keypad & Key Backup

Built for homes, rentals, and busy households, the KS02A combines biometric access with multiple backup entry methods and weather-resistant construction. It stores fingerprints and passwords locally, offers one-time guest codes, and auto-locks on a schedule — all in a compact, all-metal package that fits most standard doors and installs with a screwdriver in about 15 minutes.

How quickly and accurately does the fingerprint system work?

The KS02A uses a dedicated Veise AI chip to analyze fingerprints on the lock, delivering near-instant unlocks and improving recognition over time. The system is tuned for speed and reliability so daily comings and goings are seamless.

• Unlocks in ~0.2 seconds on successful reads
• Stores up to 20 fingerprints for family members
• On-device learning refines accuracy with each use
• Local storage keeps biometric data off the cloud

What entry methods and guest access options are available?

This lock supports four ways to enter: fingerprint, PIN, physical key, and one-time temporary codes for visitors. You can create multiple user PINs, generate single-use codes for cleaners or deliveries, and mask your PIN with extra digits to block shoulder-surfing.

• Up to 20 user passwords plus a reserved Master Password
• One-time passwords that expire automatically after use
• Anti-peep PIN input lets you add extra digits before/after your code
• Two mechanical keys kept as emergency backups

How does the lock handle power, durability, and security features?

The KS02A runs on four AA alkaline batteries and provides a visible low-battery warning; typical use can last around a year depending on activity. It meets ANSI/BHMA Grade 3 standards, is IP54-rated for dust and splashes, and includes modes to reduce noise or restrict access when needed.

• Up to 365+ days battery life on 4 AA batteries (not included)
• Red LED low-battery alert and encrypted local data storage
• IP54 waterproofing and temperature tolerance from -31°F to 158°F
• Silent Mode, Vacation Mode, and configurable auto-lock timing

Is installation and compatibility straightforward for most doors?

The KS02A is designed for quick DIY installation without drilling or wiring; it auto-detects door handing and fits standard bore sizes and thicknesses. Clear instructions and video guides are included, but proper vertical alignment of the front and rear panels is important for reliable operation.

• Fits 2-1/8" (54mm) lock hole and doors 1-3/8"–2" (35–50mm) thick
• All-metal, zinc-alloy body resists scratches and weathering
• Install in ~15 minutes with only a screwdriver required
• Includes step-by-step guide and video tutorial links

Who is this for? The Veise KS02A is aimed at homeowners, landlords, and families who want keyless convenience, flexible guest access, and a durable exterior-grade lock without professional installation. It suits rental properties, busy family entrances, and anyone seeking layered entry options (biometric, PIN, key) and local data privacy rather than cloud-dependent systems.
