Srixon Soft Feel Golf Balls — Soft Feel 14 Yellow, Low-Compression FastLayer Core & 338 Dimple for Extra Launch

Srixon Soft Feel 14 golf balls in yellow deliver a noticeably softer impact, extra launch for moderate swing speeds, and reliable greenside control without a premium price.

These redesigned Soft Feel balls combine a low-compression FastLayer core with a softer cover and a 338 Speed Dimple Pattern to give golfers a blend of distance, soft feedback, and workable spin. The bright yellow color improves visibility on fairways and rough, while the construction targets players who want forgiving launch characteristics and consistent performance across every club.

How do these balls feel and respond when you strike them?

Soft Feel 14 prioritizes a soft, responsive sensation from tee to green. The low-compression FastLayer core yields a gentler impact at slower to moderate swing speeds, while the thin outer cover preserves a softer touch around the greens for better feedback on short shots.

• Low-compression FastLayer core for soft impact and higher launch
• Softer outer cover enhances short-game feedback and control
• Approachable spin characteristics—less driver spin, more wedge and putter feel

Will these balls help me hit longer drives?

Yes — the core is engineered to convert clubhead speed into ball speed efficiently, giving you added distance without sacrificing a soft feel. The 338 Speed Dimple Pattern reduces drag on initial flight and supports a stable descent for better carry.

• High-energy core promotes increased ball speed and longer carry
• Speed-oriented dimple pattern lowers drag at launch
• Designed for slower to medium swing speeds to maximize distance gains

How does control around the green compare to firmer tour-style balls?

While firmer, multi-layer tour balls may bite more aggressively, the Soft Feel 14 offers a balanced approach: softer contact for improved feel with enough cover grip to produce dependable spin on chips, pitches, and putts. This makes it easier to judge touch when navigating delicate shots around the hole.

• Softer cover increases greenside spin relative to older soft models
• Consistent, predictable check and roll for approach shots
• Reliable putting feel with reduced harshness on impact

How durable are these balls over a full round?

Srixon engineers the Soft Feel 14 to retain performance through multiple rounds by balancing a softer cover with robust underlying construction. You can expect stable playability and surface durability that makes these balls a strong value for frequent players.

• Durable cover maintains feel and spin after repeated shots
• Core construction resists early performance drop-off
• Bright yellow finish sustains visibility across diverse course conditions

Who is this for: The Srixon Soft Feel 14 in yellow is ideal for recreational and improvement-focused golfers with slower to moderate swing speeds who want a softer impact, more carry on drives, and better touch around the greens—without paying tour-ball prices. It’s also a great option for players who prefer high-visibility balls for easier tracking on the course.
