POTUINOM 5" 80 Grit Sanding Discs for Orbital Sander — 100-Pack, Hook-and-Loop, 8-Hole Dust Extraction

POTUINOM 100PCS 5-inch 80 grit sanding discs are durable, hook-and-loop abrasive pads designed for fast material removal and clean dust extraction on most 5" random orbital sanders.

These 100 discs combine coarse aluminum-oxide grit with a reinforced hook-and-loop backing and an 8-hole pattern to speed sanding jobs while reducing clogging and airborne dust. The pack is built for professionals and hobbyists who need reliable disc adhesion, consistent cut rate, and compatibility with a wide range of materials from wood and metal to plastics and composites.

How do these discs improve sanding speed and finish?

The 80 grit aluminum-oxide abrasives deliver aggressive cutting action to remove material quickly while maintaining a predictable scratch pattern that’s easy to refine with finer grits. The abrasive formulation resists clogging so the discs keep cutting longer than standard alternatives.

• Durable aluminum-oxide grains for rapid stock removal
• Consistent grit distribution for even sanding across the pad
• Clog-resistant surface to extend usable life

Will these fit my orbital sander and stay attached?

Yes — the discs are sized for 5" random orbital sanders and use a thickened hook-and-loop backing to improve adhesion. The reinforced backing gives about twice the grip of ordinary discs, so they remain secure during aggressive passes.

• Standard 5-inch diameter compatible with most random orbital sanders
• Thick hook-and-loop backing for stronger attachment and easy swap-out
• Eight-hole pattern aligns with common dust-collection plates

How does the 8-hole design help with dust control?

The eight-hole layout channels dust into your sander’s vacuum system, reducing airborne particles and helping keep the abrasive surface cleaner. Cleaner discs cut more efficiently and create less mess on the workpiece and in your shop.

• Eight evenly spaced holes for effective dust extraction
• Reduced dust buildup extends disc life and maintains cutting performance
• Cleaner workspace and easier finishing after sanding

What materials and projects are these discs best for?

These 80 grit discs are ideal for heavy-stock removal and preparing surfaces for subsequent finer sanding. They work across many materials — remove paint or rust, shape wood, or refine metal edges before polishing.

• Woodworking: leveling, shaping, and removing old finishes
• Metal: light rust removal and smoothing welds prior to polishing
• Composite and plastics: aggressive material removal while minimizing clogging

Who is this for: POTUINOM 100PCS 5-inch 80 grit sanding discs suit DIYers, woodworkers, auto body technicians, and workshop pros who need an economical bulk supply of coarse, reliable abrasives. If you use a 5" random orbital sander and want discs that attach securely, resist clogging, and cooperate with your dust collection system, this pack gives consistent performance across a wide range of jobs.
