POTUINOM 165-piece 5" sanding discs assortment — 8-hole aluminum oxide, hook-and-loop for random orbital sanders

POTUINOM 165 PCS 5-inch sanding discs deliver a complete range of grits for smoothing, shaping and polishing most surfaces with 8-hole dust removal for cleaner sanding.

Whether you're refinishing furniture, prepping metal, or doing automotive touch-ups, this 165-piece assortment covers coarse to fine needs for 5-inch random orbital sanders. The kit combines durable aluminum oxide abrasive discs with an 8-hole pattern to help extract dust, extend abrasive life, and produce consistent finishes across wood, metal, plastics and composites.

What grits are included and when should I use each?

The set spans aggressive to very fine grits so you can move from stripping to polishing without buying extra rolls. Coarse grits remove material quickly, mid grits refine the surface, and fine grits prepare for a final polish or paint.

• 40 grit — heavy material removal and paint/varnish stripping (extra five discs included)
• 60–80 grit — shaping and smoothing rough edges
• 120–240 grit — standard sanding and surface prep
• 320–600 grit — finish sanding and pre-polish for smooth surfaces

How do these discs help keep my workspace cleaner?

Each disc is manufactured with an 8-hole layout to match most 5-inch random orbital sander dust ports, improving dust extraction during use. Better dust removal reduces airborne particles and keeps the abrasive working longer for a more consistent cut.

• 8-hole pattern aligns with common sander models for efficient suction
• Less clogging thanks to aluminum oxide grain and spacing
• Cleaner sanding means fewer interruptions to clear dust

Are these discs durable and compatible with my tools?

POTUINOM discs use high-quality aluminum oxide grains that resist clogging and provide reliable cutting performance on many materials. They are designed to fit most 5-inch (125 mm) random orbital sanders, making them an economical multi-purpose option for workshops and DIYers.

• Aluminum oxide abrasive for fast cutting and long life
• Compatible with most 5-inch random orbital sanders, die grinders and electric tools
• Hook-and-loop backing for quick disc changes (check your sander's mounting style)

Which materials can I sand with this assortment?

The variety of grits and robust abrasive make the pack suitable for many substrates, from soft wood to metal and composites. Use coarser grits for rust and paint removal, medium grits for smoothing, and finer grits for finishing and preparing for paint or polish.

• Wood — shaping, smoothing, and preparing for finish
• Metal — deburring, rust removal and pre-paint prep
• Plastics, leather, rubber, stone and glass — light sanding and polishing with appropriate grit

Who is this for: This POTUINOM 165-piece kit is built for hobbyists, carpenters, auto body technicians and home DIYers who need a full grit range for multi-step sanding projects. If you use a 5-inch random orbital sander and want a ready-to-go assortment that reduces trips to the hardware store, this set supplies quick grit changes, better dust control and durable aluminum oxide performance for a wide variety of materials.
