Panasonic Cordless Home Phone System — 4-Handset White, Link2Cell Bluetooth & Answering Machine

The Panasonic KX-TGD864W is a 4-handset cordless home phone system that links to your mobile via Bluetooth, blocks unwanted calls, and records conversations for later playback.

This expandable cordless telephone bundle combines traditional landline reliability with mobile convenience using Link2Cell Bluetooth pairing. It delivers a bright, easy-to-read display and illuminated keypad, built-in answering machine, and layered call protection tools that cut down on robocalls and one-ring scams. The system supports simple wall or tabletop placement and includes four handsets so multiple rooms can stay connected without relying solely on cellphone coverage.

How does Link2Cell improve call quality and reach inside the home?

Link2Cell pairs up to two cell phones via Bluetooth, letting you place your mobile where reception is strongest while you talk from any cordless handset. This provides the convenience of mobile calling with the steadiness and battery life of a home handset.

• Pair two smartphones to the base and answer mobile calls on any handset.
• Make and receive mobile-originated calls with landline-style clarity.
• Keep your cell charging or tucked away while you use the cordless handset.

What protections against spam and scams are built into this phone?

The phone uses several layers of call filtering: pre-blocked robocall lists, telemarketing blocking, a one-touch call block for up to 1,000 numbers, and a One-Ring Scam Alert that flags suspicious missed calls. These features help reduce interruptions and make it safer to return unknown numbers.

• Pre-blocked robocall database and Telemarketing Call Block settings.
• One-touch Call Block button to add numbers quickly to your block list.
• One-Ring Scam Alert displays a confirmation before you call back suspected scam numbers.

Can I record calls and manage messages on this system?

Yes — the KX-TGD864W supports 2-way recording so you can save both inbound and outbound conversations for review. The integrated answering machine stores messages and helps screen callers with bilingual Talking Caller ID in English and Spanish.

• 2-way recording announces "Start Recording" and stores conversations for playback.
• Built-in answering machine records incoming messages while you’re away.
• Talking Caller ID announces caller details aloud in English or Spanish for easy screening.

How easy is it to use and expand this phone system around the house?

The system ships with four handsets and supports additional units for larger homes, making setup and everyday use straightforward. Large characters, an illuminated keypad, and a 1.6-inch monochrome full dot display improve visibility for seniors and anyone using the phone in low light.

• Expandable base supports extra Panasonic handsets when you need more coverage.
• Illuminated keypad and clear 1.6" dot display for low-light visibility.
• Wall-mountable base or stable tabletop placement depending on your space.
