PAKOTOO 8MP USB Document Camera for Teachers — A3 Capture, Dual Mic & 3‑Level LED

PAKOTOO's 8MP USB document camera is a compact, foldable classroom camera that captures A3-sized documents, offers one-touch image inversion, three LED brightness levels, autofocus and dual microphones for distance teaching and presentations.

This USB document camera is designed for educators, remote presenters and small-group trainers who need a reliable way to display paper, textbooks, 2D drawings and small 3D objects during live lessons or video calls. It connects over USB (includes USB-C cable) to Windows, macOS and Chromebooks and works with common video platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and TikTok. The unit is not a plug-and-play webcam in every system — you may need to select the camera source in your software settings.

How does the PAKOTOO camera handle different lighting conditions?

The camera offers three LED brightness levels plus ten exposure settings so you can balance light for high-contrast documents or dim classroom environments. Brightness adjustment is handled by onboard buttons, and a selfie-fill function helps keep faces and fine details visible when ambient light is low.

• 3-level LED fill light for immediate brightness control
• 10 exposure increments to fine-tune image brightness and contrast
• Buttons on the camera for fast adjustments without extra software
• Selfie-fill capability for clearer presenter faces and detail shots

Can it capture large pages and small details accurately?

Yes — the PAKOTOO camera unfolds to cover up to 16.5" x 11.6" (A3 size) for full-page displays, while its macro capability captures small objects down to about 3.94" with autofocus keeping the image sharp. Multi-joint arms allow you to angle the lens for 2D pages or three-dimensional models.

• Maximum coverage: 16.5" x 11.6" (suitable for A3 and A4 materials)
• Macro capture down to approximately 3.94" for small objects or text
• Autofocus via AF button to lock clear detail as you move items
• Foldable, multi-joint design for flexible shooting angles

What connectivity and compatibility should I expect?

The camera connects to computers using the included USB-C cable and communicates over USB 2.0; it’s compatible with Windows PCs, Macs and Chromebooks. It does not provide HDMI output, does not support optical zoom, and is not compatible with iPad. In some systems you must manually choose the camera source (select "USB Camera").

• Included USB-C cable; works directly with USB-C Macs and laptops
• Compatible with Windows, macOS and Chrome OS video apps
• No HDMI output and no digital/optical zoom feature
• Not compatible with iPad; may require selecting "USB Camera" in software

How do the image inversion and audio features help during lessons?

Image inversion (flip left/right and up/down) is handled by the camera’s hardware buttons, so you can correct orientation instantly without opening extra software. Built-in dual microphones pick up teacher voice and classroom audio for clearer remote instruction.

• One-touch image reversal for left/right and up/down flipping
• Dual microphones for better vocal pickup during distance teaching
• Hardware controls reduce setup time in live lessons
