Logitech Wireless Presenter R500s PowerPoint Clicker — Red Laser, 65 ft Range, USB/Bluetooth

The Logitech Wireless Presenter R500s is a compact slide clicker with a bright red laser pointer, long-range wireless control, and a built-in receiver dock for reliable, untethered presentations.

Whether you lead meetings, teach classes, or give pitches, the R500s is designed to simplify slide navigation and keep you mobile. It pairs easy tactile controls with dual connectivity options and battery-saving features so your presentation stays on track without constant technical fuss.

How far can I move from my computer while presenting?

The R500s supports wireless operation up to about 20 meters (65 feet), letting you roam across medium and larger rooms without losing control. Range can vary depending on room layout, interference, and the host device, but this distance covers most boardrooms and classrooms comfortably.

• Estimated range: up to 20 meters (65 ft)
• Suitable for medium and large rooms
• Performance may change by environment or computer setup

What connectivity options does the presenter offer?

The R500s connects via a tiny USB receiver or Bluetooth Low Energy, so it works with devices that accept a plug-and-play dongle and modern systems that support Bluetooth. The receiver stores inside the presenter for safe transport, avoiding lost adapters between sessions.

• Plug-and-play USB receiver for quick setup
• Bluetooth Low Energy for wireless pairing without the dongle
• Integrated dock keeps the USB receiver secure when not in use

How does the laser and battery life hold up during long presentations?

The R500s includes a bright red laser pointer to highlight content clearly from a distance. It uses a single AAA battery and employs a smart power-saving mode that disables the laser when battery runs low to extend operation, giving you extra presentation time instead of an abrupt stop.

• High-visibility red laser for clear pointing
• Smart battery management extends runtime
• Typical battery life: up to 12 months under normal use (actual life varies)

Can I customize button functions and track my session time?

When you install the Logitech Presentation App on a compatible Mac or PC, the R500s lets you remap buttons, view battery status, and enable an on-screen timer to manage your speaking time. These software features add flexibility for frequent presenters who want more control over device behavior.

• Optional Logitech Presentation App for customization
• On-screen timer and battery monitoring available via software
• Software compatibility: Windows 7+ and macOS 10.12+ (download required)

Who is this for? The Logitech R500s is aimed at professionals, educators, and presenters who need a dependable, easy-to-use remote for slide control and audience engagement. If you value mobility, simple setup, and tactile controls—plus the convenience of an internal receiver dock and optional software customization—the R500s is built to make presentations smoother without adding complexity.
