FELIWAY Optimum Cat Calming Pheromone Diffuser Refill — 1-Pack, 4-Week Coverage, up to 700 sq ft

FELIWAY Optimum is a plug-in pheromone diffuser refill designed to help reduce common signs of cat stress and support calmer behavior in the home.

If your cat is showing signs of anxiety—such as scratching, urine marking, hiding, or tense interactions with other cats—FELIWAY Optimum provides continuous, odorless pheromone support to create a more relaxed environment. This single refill delivers up to four weeks of steady release and covers large rooms up to 700 square feet, making it suitable for living rooms, open-plan spaces, and multi-cat households. The formula is the result of research into feline pheromones and is intended to be non-sedating and safe for use around cats, people, and other pets when used according to directions.

How quickly will I see a difference in my cat’s behavior?

Response time varies by cat and situation, but many owners notice improvements within days and the most consistent changes appear after a few weeks of continuous use. For best results, keep the diffuser plugged in continuously and allow the pheromone to disperse into the environment without obstacles.

• Continuous release for up to 4 weeks per refill
• Often noticeable changes within several days
• Greater effect when used continuously and in the main activity area

Will this refill work in a multi-cat household or large room?

Yes—each refill is formulated to cover an area up to 700 square feet, which is helpful for large living spaces and many multi-cat homes. For homes with several separated areas or multiple floors, place diffusers where cats spend the most time or one per open living zone for broader coverage.

• Covers up to 700 sq ft—suitable for living rooms and open-plan areas
• Promotes calmer interactions among cats sharing the same space
• Consider additional diffusers for separate rooms or floors

Is FELIWAY Optimum safe for my cat and household?

FELIWAY Optimum is not a sedative; it works by mimicking natural feline pheromones to help cats feel more secure. When used as directed, it’s designed to be safe for cats, kittens, and the people and pets who share your home, but always follow label instructions and consult your veterinarian if your cat has health issues or severe behavior concerns.

• Non-sedating—supports calm without medication
• Intended for use around cats, kittens, people, and other pets**
• Follow outlet placement and clearance directions for safe operation

How do I install and maintain the diffuser refill?

Installation is straightforward: screw the refill into the FELIWAY plug-in diffuser unit, plug into an open outlet with vents pointing upward, and keep a clear space of about 4 feet around it. Replace the refill every four weeks for continuous support and store spare refills upright in a cool, dry place.

• Plug into an open outlet with vents upward and 4 feet clearance
• Replace the refill every 4 weeks for continuous effect
• Use one diffuser per main living area or add more for separate zones

Who is this refill for? FELIWAY Optimum refill is intended for cat owners looking to reduce stress-related behaviors and promote a calmer home, especially in households with sudden change, multi-cat tension, or visible signs of anxiety like spraying or excessive scratching. It suits cat parents who prefer a non-drug approach to behavioral support, those with large or open living spaces, and anyone wanting a plug-and-play option that works 24/7 when installed correctly. Keep in mind each cat is unique, and results depend on the individual and environmental factors.
