FELIWAY Cat Pheromone Calming Diffuser Refill — 4‑Week Plug‑In, Non‑Sedating Calm

FELIWAY Classic is a plug‑in pheromone diffuser refill that helps reduce common cat stress behaviors—like scratching, urine spraying and hiding—by recreating calming feline messages in your home.

If your cat is reacting to a change in the household, new people or new pets with unwanted behaviors, FELIWAY Classic offers a simple, non‑sedating way to make shared spaces feel safer for them. Developed from decades of feline behavior research, the formula mimics natural calming facial pheromones so cats recognize the messages instinctively. One refill delivers continuous diffusion for up to four weeks and treats rooms or open areas up to roughly 700 square feet when used with a compatible diffuser base.

How does FELIWAY Classic actually help reduce spraying, scratching, and hiding?

The product uses a synthetic version of the facial pheromone cats use to mark secure territory. When emitted by a diffuser, these messages can lower the cat’s motivation to mark or avoid spaces, which often appears as spraying, excessive scratching, or withdrawal.

• Mimics natural feline facial pheromones cats recognize as comforting
• Continuous diffusion for steady calming signals over weeks
• Targets behavior triggers linked to territory, routine changes, and social stress

How do I set it up and where should I place the diffuser?

Plug the FELIWAY diffuser into an open wall outlet with vents pointing upward and leave at least four feet of clearance. Place the unit in the main area where your cat spends time or where problem behaviors are occurring for the best coverage.

• Use one refill per compatible plug‑in diffuser (diffuser base not included)
• Effective coverage up to about 700 square feet per refill
• Allow continuous use for several days to notice behavioral changes

Is FELIWAY Classic safe for kittens, multiple pets, and people in the home?

FELIWAY Classic is formulated to be non‑sedating and suitable for use around cats, kittens, and other household members when used as directed. It acts by sending behavioral cues rather than altering physiology with drugs, so it complements environmental and behavioral approaches.

• Non‑sedating; supports comfort without medication
• Can be used alongside other behavioral strategies or vet recommendations
• Follow label directions for placement and continuous use

How long before I see results and how often should I replace refills?

Some cat families observe changes within days, while others may need a couple of weeks for behaviors to shift—results vary by individual cat and situation. Each refill provides up to four weeks of continuous diffusion; replace according to the product instructions for ongoing support.

• Individual response times can range from a few days to several weeks
• Replace the refill approximately every four weeks for continuous coverage
• Consistent placement in the problem area improves effectiveness

Who this is for: FELIWAY Classic is aimed at cat owners seeking a gentle, science‑based way to ease stress‑related behaviors without sedatives. It’s useful for single or multi‑cat homes, households experiencing changes (new people, travel, renovations), or anyone wanting a calmer environment for shy or territory‑driven cats. For persistent or severe issues, using FELIWAY Classic alongside veterinary or behaviorist advice is recommended.
