Blink Outdoor 4 wireless security camera — 1080p HD, 2-year battery, Sync Module Core (1‑camera kit)

Blink Outdoor 4 is a battery-powered, weather-resistant wireless security camera that delivers 1080p live video, infrared night view, two-way audio, and up to two years of operation on included AA Energizer lithium batteries.

Designed for easy installation and low maintenance, this one-camera kit pairs an Outdoor 4 camera with a Sync Module Core so you can monitor your property from the Blink app. It combines essential smart-home conveniences — live view, motion alerts, and Alexa compatibility — with long battery life to reduce frequent recharges. Local storage isn’t supported by the Sync Module Core, but cloud backup options and alternative Sync Modules are available for on-site recording.

How clear is the video and how does it perform at night?

The Outdoor 4 captures 1080p HD footage for crisp daytime monitoring and switches to infrared night vision after dark for continued visibility. Live view and recorded clips show recognizable scene detail suitable for general security monitoring.

• 1080p HD live streaming for real-time clarity
• Infrared LEDs for black-and-white night visibility
• Two-way audio to listen and speak through the camera

What kind of battery life can I expect and how is it powered?

This camera is optimized to run up to two years on the included AA Energizer lithium batteries under typical usage patterns when paired with the Sync Module Core. Power requirements are minimal because the camera stays in low-power standby and wakes on motion or app request.

• Includes AA Energizer lithium batteries for long-life operation
• Up to two years of battery life under normal conditions
• USB-C cable and power adapter included for optional wired use

How are motion alerts and person detection handled?

Enhanced motion detection provides faster alerts and lets you define dual zones for more precise monitoring. Person detection is available through Blink’s optional Subscription Plan, which adds embedded computer vision to reduce false alarms and flag human activity.

• Dual-zone enhanced motion detection for targeted alerts
• Optional person detection via Blink Subscription Plan (sold separately)
• Cloud storage trial available to save and share clips

What storage and smart-home integrations are supported?

The Sync Module Core in this kit does not include local storage, but Blink offers a free 30-day trial of cloud storage with subscription plans. If you prefer local backups, other Sync Modules (Sync Module XR or Sync Module 2) support MicroSD cards or USB flash drives and are sold separately. The camera also works with Alexa for voice control and multi-camera live view.

• Sync Module Core included; cloud storage trial for saving footage
• Local backup available with Sync Module XR or Sync Module 2 (sold separately)
• Alexa integration for voice commands and live view on compatible devices

Who is this for: Blink Outdoor 4 is well suited to homeowners, renters, and small-business owners who want an affordable, low-maintenance outdoor camera with long battery life and essential smart features. If you need straightforward 1080p monitoring with simple app control and optional cloud or local storage pathways, this kit provides a practical balance of performance and convenience.
