Blink Outdoor 4 Floodlight Camera — Wireless 1080p Security Camera, 700 Lumens, 2-Year Battery

The Blink Outdoor 4 Floodlight Camera is a wire-free security camera with 700 lumens of motion-activated LED lighting, 1080p live view, and up to two years of battery life when paired with the included Sync Module Core.

This compact floodlight camera blends bright, motion-triggered illumination with a weather-resistant camera and two-way audio so you can see, hear, and respond from your phone. Setup is designed to be simple: install the unit where you need light and coverage, insert the included batteries and Sync Module Core, and control live view, motion alerts, and settings via the Blink app. Optional cloud storage and AI-powered person detection are available through Blink subscription options, while local backup is possible with additional Sync Module hardware and a microSD card (sold separately).

How bright is the floodlight and where will it help most?

The integrated LEDs deliver 700 lumens when triggered, bright enough to illuminate driveways, entryways, and small yards for clearer video and safer access. The high output reduces shadows and improves the camera's visible detail at night compared with infrared-only setups. Use it to deter unwanted activity or simply light a path for guests.

• 700 lumens of motion-activated LED lighting for clear night illumination
• Improves camera visibility and color detail after dark
• Ideal for porches, driveways, and compact yard areas

What do I get for power, battery life, and weather protection?

The camera runs wire-free using two AA Energizer lithium batteries that, along with the included Sync Module Core, can provide up to two years of operation under typical use. The unit is built to withstand outdoor conditions so you can install it exposed to rain and temperature changes. A power adapter and USB cable are included if you prefer a wired power option in specific installations.

• Two AA Energizer lithium batteries included for long life
• Up to two years of coverage with typical usage and Sync Module Core
• Weather-resistant design for outdoor mounting

How does motion detection, alerts, and smart detection work?

Blink’s enhanced motion detection uses dual-zone sensing to send faster and more relevant alerts to your smartphone when it senses activity. In-app settings let you tailor motion zones and sensitivity to reduce unnecessary notifications. For more refined results, Blink subscription plans add AI-powered person detection so you can prioritize alerts for people versus general motion.

• Dual-zone enhanced motion detection for quicker alerts
• Customize zones and sensitivity in the Blink app to reduce false alarms
• Optional AI person detection with a Blink subscription (sold separately)

How do I store footage and interact with visitors?

Live view and two-way audio let you see and speak with visitors directly from the Blink app. Video is captured in 1080p HD, and infrared night vision supplements color footage when lighting is low. Cloud storage is available via a free 30-day Blink trial, and local backup is supported with a Sync Module XR plus a microSD card (up to 256 GB, sold separately).

• 1080p HD live view with infrared night vision for low-light detection
• Two-way audio to speak with visitors or delivery personnel
• Free 30-day cloud trial; local backup via Sync Module XR and microSD

Who is this for: The Blink Outdoor 4 Floodlight Camera is suited for homeowners or renters who want a high-output, easy-to-install outdoor security solution without running wiring. It fits anyone seeking visible deterrence, smartphone alerts, and two-way communication for entrances, driveways, and small yards. Choose a Blink subscription if you want AI-assisted person detection and extended cloud storage, or opt for local backup hardware for off-cloud recording.
