BLACK+DECKER 12-Cup Drip Coffee Maker with Vortex Brewing — Programmable Auto-Brew, Sneak-A-Cup

The BLACK+DECKER 12-Cup Drip Coffee Maker with Vortex Brewing quickly delivers a full carafe of smooth, evenly extracted coffee and includes programmable auto-brew and drip-stopping convenience.

If you want a reliable everyday coffee maker that balances speed, consistency and simple controls, this BLACK+DECKER model is built for routine use. It combines a 12-cup Duralife glass carafe with a vortex-style brew path designed to distribute water evenly over grounds, an intuitive QuickTouch programming pad, and practical features like a front water window and Sneak-A-Cup drip stop. The unit is engineered to be easy to set up, maintain, and use day after day without unnecessary complication.

How does the vortex brewing improve extraction?

The vortex brew path helps water flow more uniformly across coffee grounds, promoting a more balanced extraction than a single-stream pour. That results in a cup profile with fewer under- or over-extracted pockets.

• Even water distribution over grounds for consistent flavor
• Designed to reduce channeling and uneven brewing
• Works with standard paper filters for predictable results

What programming and convenience features speed up mornings?

Large rubberized QuickTouch buttons and a clear digital display make setting the 24-hour auto-brew quick and intuitive. The 2-hour auto shutoff adds a layer of safety and peace of mind for busy households.

• Set a brew time up to 24 hours in advance
• Easy-to-read clock and programming indicators
• 2-hour automatic shutoff to save energy and reduce risk

Can I pour a cup before the full pot is finished?

The Sneak-A-Cup drip-stop feature pauses the flow of coffee when you remove the carafe so you can pour a cup without making a mess. Brewing resumes when the carafe is returned, so you don’t disrupt the full-cycle process.

• Temporarily halts coffee flow for early pours
• Prevents drips and keeps the warming plate cleaner
• Simple, mechanical action—no special accessories required

What maintenance and parts make daily use easy?

The washable brew basket and the visible water window simplify upkeep and filling. The Duralife glass carafe is marked for accurate measurement and has an ergonomic handle for comfortable pouring.

• Washable filter basket for straightforward cleaning
• Front-facing water window with clear level markings
• Durable glass carafe with measurement guides and easy-grip handle

Who is this for? This BLACK+DECKER 12-cup drip coffeemaker is aimed at daily coffee drinkers, families, and small offices that want a dependable, programmable brewer without complexity. If you value an even extraction, the ability to wake to a fresh pot, and practical features like a drip-stop and visible water reservoir, this machine fits well into a no-fuss morning routine.
