BLACK+DECKER 16" Oscillating Pedestal Fan with Remote — Black, Height-Adjustable & 3 Speeds

The BLACK+DECKER 16" Oscillating Pedestal Fan (BFSR16B) is a lightweight, height-adjustable stand fan with three speeds, 90° oscillation, tilt, and a convenient remote for room-by-room airflow control.

This 16-inch pedestal fan by BLACK+DECKER combines straightforward controls and useful adjustments so you can move cool air where you need it. Built for easy setup and daily use, it balances quiet performance with portability: the fan weighs under 10 pounds, includes a stable base, and has quick front-panel buttons plus a remote so you can change settings from across the room.

How does this fan improve airflow in living spaces?

The BFSR16B uses a durable 16" blade and 90-degree oscillation to push air across a wide area, helping reduce stagnant air and enhancing comfort without relying solely on air conditioning. Its three speed options let you select gentle circulation or stronger blasts for faster cooling.

• 16-inch blade for broad air movement
• 90° oscillation covers more of the room
• Three distinct speed settings for tailored airflow
• Front-panel and remote control for quick adjustments

Can I position the fan to target different parts of a room?

Yes — the pedestal height adjusts up to 49 inches and the fan head tilts 30° so you can aim airflow higher or lower as needed. The compact 15.3" diameter base keeps the fan stable while occupying minimal floor space.

• Adjustable pedestal reaches up to 49" tall
• 30° tilt range for precise direction
• Compact base fits apartments, bedrooms, or offices
• Lightweight build (9.9 lbs) for easy relocation

What controls and conveniences are included?

Controls are simple: a front-panel interface gives immediate access to speed, oscillation, and power, while the included remote lets you change settings without getting up. A five-foot power cord offers flexible placement near outlets.

• Front-panel control buttons for instant changes
• Remote control for adjustments from across the room
• 5-foot power cord for flexible placement
• Stable pedestal design that assembles quickly

How reliable and easy to maintain is the fan?

The fan is designed for everyday household use with straightforward assembly and a durable grille and blade designed to withstand regular operation. If the unit does not power on, check that it is plugged in and that the fuse cover is closed — two common, simple fixes.

• Durable plastic grille and blades for routine use
• Simple troubleshooting: confirm plug and fuse cover
• Low weight simplifies storage when not in use
• Front access controls for easy cleaning and operation
