Baskerville ULTRA Dog Muzzle Size 6 — Heat-Shapeable TPR Basket Muzzle, Padded Straps & Lockable Clip

The Baskerville ULTRA Dog Muzzle Size 6 is a heat-shapeable, humane muzzle that lets dogs pant and drink while preventing bites and giving owners secure, comfortable control.

The Baskerville ULTRA Muzzle was designed by Dr. Roger Mugford to balance safety and comfort. Size 6 is built to fit medium-to-large snouts while accommodating shorter-nosed breeds through gentle heat shaping. Constructed from strong Thermo Plastic Rubber (TPR) with padded nylon straps and a lockable neck-clip, this muzzle supports everyday walks, training sessions, and handling needs without restricting normal mouth movement.

How does the Size 6 ULTRA let my dog pant and drink?

The Baskerville ULTRA has an open, basket-style shape that maintains airflow and access to water, so dogs can naturally pant to regulate temperature and take a drink. The design avoids tight closure around the mouth while still preventing biting.

• Basket entrance leaves space for tongue and nose movement
• Open vents promote airflow for panting
• Room to sip water without removing the muzzle

Can Size 6 be shaped to fit different nose types?

Yes — the ULTRA acts like a flexible mouth-guard and can be heat-shaped using warm water to better match a dog’s specific muzzle contour. Shaping improves comfort and fit, especially for shorter-nosed breeds such as Boxers or dogs with unique nose profiles.

• Warm water softens TPR for gentle molding
• Custom fit reduces rubbing and pressure points
• Follow the included fitting guide for best results

Is the Size 6 safe and secure for reactive or nervous dogs?

The Baskerville ULTRA is engineered to prevent bites while remaining humane. Strong TPR construction combined with a padded headstrap, collar attachment, and a lockable neck-strap clip keeps the muzzle reliably in place during walks, vet visits, or training without metal touching the dog’s face.

• Durable Thermo Plastic Rubber resists damage and provides protection
• Padded straps improve comfort during longer wear
• Lockable neck clip and collar attachment prevent accidental removal

How do I use the Size 6 for training and socialization?

The ULTRA supports controlled exposure and reward-based training by allowing you to handle and reinforce positive behavior safely. Because dogs can still take treats through the open front, you can pair muzzle-wearing with calm introductions and gradual socialization steps.

• Use treats and praise through the muzzle opening
• Start with short, positive sessions and increase duration
• Ideal for walks, vet visits, grooming, and gradual socialization

Who is this for: The Baskerville ULTRA Size 6 suits owners of medium to large dogs who need a reliable, humane muzzle for safe handling, training, or short-term management. It’s especially useful for people with shorter-nosed breeds that require a custom-fit muzzle, as well as pet parents seeking a comfortable option for daily walks, vet trips, and behavior work. Follow the included fitting guide to ensure the correct size and use shaping only as directed to achieve an accurate, comfortable fit.
