AstroAI Digital Clamp Meter Multimeter — Blue 2000-Count Auto-Ranging with NCV & Backlit Display

The AstroAI CM2K0R is a compact auto-ranging digital clamp meter that measures AC current, AC/DC voltage and a range of electrical parameters for home and light-industrial troubleshooting.

Built for electricians, maintenance technicians and DIYers, this 2000-count clamp meter combines a detachable jaw for non-invasive AC current readings with standard multimeter functions such as voltage, resistance, capacitance and continuity checks. Safety features, a backlit display and audible/visual NCV alarms make it a practical tool for diagnosing wiring faults and verifying live circuits without guesswork.

How does the clamp jaw simplify current measurement?

The clamp jaw lets you measure AC current without disconnecting conductors: simply close the jaw around one live wire and read current on the display. This eliminates the need to insert test leads through the circuit, saving time and reducing exposure to live terminals.

• Designed for single-conductor clamping — do not clamp entire power cords
• Fast live-current readings for AC loads within rated range
• Jaw center marking helps position conductors for accurate results
• Only for AC current; DC current measurement is not supported

What voltage and continuity checks can it perform?

The meter measures AC and DC voltage, plus resistance and continuity, enabling you to verify wiring, check fuses and detect open circuits. Continuity is confirmed with a clear beep and the backlit display helps view results in dimly lit areas.

• AC and DC voltage ranges for household and automotive circuits
• Resistance and diode checks for component diagnostics
• Audible continuity buzzer for quick wire and trace testing
• Backlit LCD for improved readability in low light

How does the NCV (non-contact voltage) feature improve safety?

Non-contact voltage detection alerts you to nearby live AC conductors without touching them. Visual and audible cues change intensity with signal strength, helping you quickly locate live wires and avoid accidental contact.

• Visual green/red indicators signal weak or strong AC fields
• Audible tones vary from slow to fast beeps with signal strength
• Useful for preliminary checks before working on circuits
• Helps reduce unnecessary contact with energized parts

Which convenience and protection features are included?

The AstroAI unit includes several user-friendly options to streamline testing and protect the tool. Auto-ranging simplifies readings, and Max/Min plus data-hold support extended troubleshooting. The meter meets safety category III 600V and pollution degree 2 standards for added user protection.

• Auto-ranging simplifies selection of appropriate measurement scale
• Data Hold and Max/Min capture transient or hard-to-read values
• Auto power-off and low-battery indicator extend battery life
• Conforms to CAT III 600V and pollution degree 2 safety ratings

Who this is for: The AstroAI CM2K0R suits electricians, facility maintenance staff, builders and committed DIYers who need a reliable, portable clamp meter for troubleshooting household circuits, HVAC systems and light industrial equipment. It’s particularly helpful when you require non-invasive AC current readings plus standard multimeter functions in a single, safety-rated instrument.
