ZIP System Adhesive Flashing Tape is a 3.75" x 30' acrylic-adhesive tape designed to create a durable, airtight and watertight seal around windows, doors and rough openings.

This high-performance flashing tape uses an advanced acrylic adhesive engineered for construction conditions, offering a long-lasting bond across common building substrates. The roll is sized for jobsite convenience and installs quickly with a ZIP System roller to help crews work faster and reduce the need for extra housewrap layers. Backed by a ZIP System 30-year limited warranty for exposure protection, the tape is suitable for a wide temperature range and multiple surface types.

How does this tape perform on window and door rough openings?

ZIP System Adhesive Flashing Tape is formulated to seal seams and edges at rough openings to help block moisture and air infiltration. Its acrylic adhesive maintains bond strength over time so seals stay intact through temperature swings and weather exposure.

• 3.75" width ideal for continuous seam coverage at jambs and sills
• Works on sheathing and many common substrates for exterior applications
• Provides both air and water sealing when applied as recommended

Will it stick to different window and building materials?

The tape is compatible with a wide range of substrates, including exterior sheathing and PVC window frames. Its advanced acrylic adhesive is designed to adhere reliably to both porous and non-porous surfaces used in typical exterior wall assemblies.

• Depends on clean, dry surface for best adhesion
• Adheres to wood, OSB, plywood, and many vinyl or PVC trim materials
• Recommended for use with ZIP System sheathing but works with other common materials

How does temperature and weather exposure affect installation?

The tape installs across a broad temperature range and is engineered to resist temperature-related bond degradation. Follow installation temperature recommendations and use a roller to ensure full contact for a continuous barrier.

• Install temperature range: 0 to 120°F (-18 to 49°C)
• Weather-resistant acrylic adhesive formulated for long-term exposure
• Use a ZIP System roller to smooth and set the tape for best performance

What warranty and jobsite benefits does it provide?

ZIP System Adhesive Flashing Tape is backed by a 30-year limited exposure warranty, giving installers and builders a measure of confidence for typical exterior applications. The product also speeds installation and reduces the need for additional wrap layers when used as part of a continuous air and water barrier strategy.

• 30-year limited warranty for exposure protection
• Shapes a continuous air and water barrier trusted by construction crews
• Roll size (3.75" x 30') balances coverage and handling for jobsite efficiency
