WYBENZ 14-piece screw extractor and left-hand drill bit set removes broken, stuck, or stripped screws and bolts quickly and with minimal damage.
This compact kit combines seven HSS cobalt left-hand drill bits and seven alloy-steel extractors in a durable case so you can tackle seized fasteners at home, in the workshop, or on the job site. The tools are engineered to cut into damaged screw heads and grip inward as you reverse the drill, letting you back out stubborn screws and studs without enlarging the hole or harming surrounding material.
The left-hand drill bits cut in the reverse direction, which helps the bit bite into the damaged fastener and often causes the screw to spin out as you drill. These bits are cobalt-fortified HSS for greater wear resistance and longer life than plain high-speed steel.
WYBENZ extractors feature a 135° cutting geometry that reduces axial resistance and increases cutting length while thinning the cutting layer. That geometry allows the extractor to engage more deeply and grip more effectively without stressing adjacent material.
This set performs well on common ferrous and softer non-ferrous materials where fasteners are seized, stripped, or broken. It’s optimized for general workshop, automotive, construction, and home repair applications, not for extremely hardened alloys.
Select the extractor that best matches the drilled pilot hole and the original fastener size. Start with the smallest drill that creates a centered pilot, then use the matching extractor, turning counterclockwise to remove the fastener. Wear eye protection and use steady, controlled pressure to avoid breakage.
Who is this for: This WYBENZ 14-piece set is a practical addition for DIYers, mechanics, and tradespeople who routinely face stuck or broken fasteners. If you want a compact, versatile kit that pairs hardened left-hand drill bits with tapered extractors in a protective case, this collection covers most common sizes used in automotive, home improvement, and light industrial tasks.
Q: Can I use these extractors on stainless steel bolts?
A: They work on many steels but avoid very hard stainless (e.g., 440 series). Use caution and lower speed on harder alloys.
Q: What drill speed and direction should I use?
A: Set the drill to reverse at low speed. If higher speeds are needed, use coolant and maintain firm control.
