WUERLI Fire Blanket for Home & Kitchen 40" x 40" 4-Pack — Flame‑Retardant Fiberglass, Easy‑Pull Red Pouches

Keep a WUERLI Fire Blanket within reach in your kitchen, garage, grill area, or camping kit to stop small fires before they spread. These flexible, non-expiring blankets are supplied in bright red pouches for easy visibility and fast deployment. Compact and intuitive to use, they offer a low-maintenance complement to traditional extinguishers for many household fire types (note: not for electrical fires).

How does a WUERLI Fire Blanket work to put out flames?

The blanket smothers a fire by cutting off oxygen and cooling the fuel surface. Made from flame-retardant fiberglass, it resists ignition and can be wrapped around a person or laid over a burning pan or grill to suffocate the fire without spraying chemicals.

• Smothers flames by depriving them of oxygen.
• Heat-resistant fiberglass reduces the risk of the blanket catching fire.
• Can be used on grease, liquid, and biofuel fires.
• No residue or harmful fumes after use compared with chemical extinguishers.

When should I choose a fire blanket instead of a fire extinguisher?

Fire blankets are ideal for small, contained fires such as stove-top grease fires or clothing fires where direct coverage is possible. They require no training, produce no mess, and remain effective indefinitely, making them a practical first-response tool alongside an extinguisher for larger incidents.

• Best for covering pans, small grills, and clothing/alight fabrics.
• Useful where fumes or chemical residue would be problematic.
• Convenient for quick, close-quarters response without spraying agents.
• Keep one near cooking and another in outdoor or workshop areas for redundancy.

How do I use and store the 40" x 40" WUERLI Fire Blanket?

Remove the blanket from its red pouch and hold by the corner loops to shield your hands. Gently place or throw the blanket over the flames to smother them; allow cooling before moving. Store in the bright pouch in an accessible, visible location away from heat sources.

• Pull tabs to extract blanket quickly from its pouch.
• Hold corners or use the pouch to position the blanket safely.
• Leave the blanket in place until fully cooled to prevent re-ignition.
• Store at eye level in kitchens, garages, or near BBQs for fast access.

What size and pack options does this product include?

This listing supplies four individual 40" x 40" blankets, a size large enough to cover common household hazards like frying pans, small grills, and campfires. Having four blankets lets you place one in multiple key locations or share with household members for comprehensive coverage.

• Each blanket measures 40 inches by 40 inches for broad coverage.
• Four separate red storage pouches for visible mounting or shelving.
• Lightweight and foldable for compact storage and easy transport.
• Multiple blankets increase preparedness across rooms and outdoor areas.
