WORKPRO 5" Sanding Discs 150-Pack — 8-Hole Hook-and-Loop, Multi-Grit Aluminum Oxide (60–600)

WORKPRO 150-pack 5-inch sanding discs are a complete multi-grit aluminum oxide sandpaper assortment with 8-hole hook-and-loop backing for universal orbital sander compatibility.

Whether you’re restoring furniture, prepping paint surfaces, or smoothing metal, this set supplies 150 hook-and-loop discs across ten grits so you can progress from aggressive material removal to fine finishing without stopping to shop for replacements. The discs use durable aluminum oxide abrasive and a napped backing that resists clogging, slips on and off quick-change pads, and aligns with common 5-inch (125mm) random orbital sanders from major brands.

How do these discs handle different stages of sanding?

The assortment covers coarse to very fine grits so you can chain sanding steps in logical progression: start with lower numbers for stock removal and move to higher numbers for smoothing and polishing. Each grit grade is included in the pack to give you a consistent workflow for projects of varying needs.

• Includes ten grit levels: 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 180, 240, 320, 400, 600.
• Coarse grits (60–120) for stripping paint and shaping wood.
• Medium grits (150–240) for blending and surface prep.
• Fine grits (320–600) to refine edges and polish finishes.

Will these fit my orbital sander and remove dust effectively?

Yes — the discs are 5 inches (125mm) with an 8-hole pattern designed for reliable dust extraction on many common random orbital sanders. Hook-and-loop backing makes disc changes quick while the hole layout helps evacuate debris to maintain cutting efficiency.

• Standard 125mm diameter to match most 5" sanding pads.
• 8-hole design aligns with popular sander models for improved dust removal.
• Napped backing provides secure hook-and-loop attachment and fast swaps.

What kind of abrasive and durability can I expect?

The discs use aluminum oxide abrasive, a versatile grain known for longevity and effective cutting on many substrates. The abrasive resists clogging and delivers consistent performance across wood, metal, plastics, and composite materials when used with appropriate technique and grit progression.

• Aluminum oxide grain for a balance of aggressive cutting and long life.
• Anti-clog properties reduce loading on softer materials like paint or filler.
• Uniform coating for even wear and predictable finish results.

Which materials and projects are these discs suitable for?

The set is intended for a wide range of tasks, from rough stock removal to final surface preparation across many materials. Use coarser discs for metal or rough wood, mid-grits for smoothing, and the finest discs for polishing or preparing a surface for finishing.

• Woodworking: shaping, smoothing, and preparing for stain or paint.
• Metal: deburring, rust removal, and surface blending.
• Plastics, leather, rubber, stone, and glass for light finishing tasks.

Who is this for? The WORKPRO 150-pack is aimed at DIYers, woodworkers, auto-body hobbyists, and professional handymen who need a broad selection of grits on hand for varied jobs. If you own a 5" random orbital sander and want a comprehensive, cost-effective sanding disc inventory with quick-change backing and effective dust extraction, this pack covers the full range from heavy material removal to fine finishing.
