Wondercide Dog Flea, Tick & Mosquito Repellent Collar — Large (Water-Resistant, Plant-Based)

Wondercide's Large Flea, Tick & Mosquito Collar is a plant-based, water-resistant repellent that provides up to 4 months of protection against fleas and ticks and up to 1 month against mosquitoes for dogs over 45 lb.

This collar uses steam-distilled peppermint and other botanical essential oils to create a continuous repellency layer without harsh chemicals or artificial fragrances. It’s designed for dogs and puppies older than four months, fits necks up to 26 inches, and can be trimmed for a comfortable, secure fit. Pairing the collar with other Wondercide products can strengthen routine pest management for active pets and outdoor families.

How long will the collar protect my dog?

The Wondercide large collar is formulated to repel fleas and ticks for up to four months and mosquitoes for up to one month under normal use. Actual longevity may vary depending on activity level, exposure, and environmental conditions.

• Up to 4 months repellency for fleas and ticks
• Up to 1 month repellency for mosquitoes
• Retention affected by frequent submersion or heavy wear
• Replace when product reaches stated time or shows visible wear

Is this collar safe to use around my family and pets?

Yes—this collar relies on plant-derived essential oils rather than synthetic insecticides, making it a milder option when used as directed. It’s cruelty-free and comes in recyclable packaging, but always follow label instructions and monitor pets for sensitivity.

• Made with steam-distilled peppermint and botanical oils
• Safe for dogs and puppies 4+ months when directions are followed
• Non-harsh formula; observe for skin reactions
• Not intended as a treatment for active infestations

Will the collar stay effective if my dog swims or gets a bath?

The collar is water-resistant, so it endures routine baths and occasional swims without losing its protective properties immediately. Heavy or repeated soaking may shorten effective time, so check fit and condition regularly.

• Water-resistant construction maintains repellency during normal bathing
• Avoid prolonged submersion for best duration
• Check collar fit after swimming or rough play
• Trim to size for secure, comfortable wear

How does this collar fit into a pest-management routine?

The collar is intended as a preventative layer of defense rather than a cure for established infestations. For comprehensive control, use it alongside other preventive measures such as environmental sprays, regular grooming, and veterinary guidance.

• Use with Wondercide Flea & Tick Pets + Home spray for layered protection
• Good preventive option versus chewables or spot treatments for some pet owners
• Not a substitute for veterinary treatment if infestation is present
• Replace according to labeled timelines for continuous coverage

Who is this for: This large Wondercide collar suits dog owners seeking a plant-based repellency option for medium to large dogs (over 45 lb) and puppies aged four months and older. It’s a fit for families who prefer natural essential oils over synthetic insecticides, want a water-resistant collar that smells of peppermint, and plan to combine preventative tools for backyard or outdoor-active pets. If your dog has a current flea or tick infestation, consult your veterinarian for an appropriate treatment plan before relying on repellency-only products.
