WOLFBOX G840S 12" Mirror Dash Cam — 4K Front, 1080p Rear, GPS, 32GB Card

This mirror-style dash cam replaces your vehicle’s rearview mirror with a large 12" display that combines high-resolution recording and live monitoring. The front lens captures ultra-high-definition 4K footage while the rear camera records in 1080p, and integrated GPS logs location and speed. With Wi‑Fi connectivity, an included 32GB memory card, and a parking monitoring mode, the G840S is built to record everyday drives, incidents, and parked vehicle events.

How does the 12" 4K mirror display improve visibility while driving?

The oversized 12-inch 2.5D curved screen gives you 1.5 times the viewing area of a standard mirror, making it easier to see live footage and playback recordings without blocking your sightline. The low-reflectivity LCD reduces glare and daytime reflections, so the display stays readable in varied lighting. Smart split-screen enables simultaneous front and rear views for real-time situational awareness.

• 12" 2.5D curved low-reflective LCD for clearer daytime viewing
• Split-screen mode shows front and rear feeds at once
• Large display reduces blind spots compared to standard mirrors

What video quality and field of view can I expect from the cameras?

The front camera records at 4K UHD (2160p) to capture detailed license plates and road signs, while the rear camera records in 1080p for reliable backup footage. Wide-angle lenses—170° front and 140° rear—maximize scene coverage to capture adjacent lanes and the area behind your vehicle. WDR and HDR technologies balance exposure in high-contrast scenes for better detail in shadows and highlights.

• Front: 4K UHD 2160p resolution for crisp daytime detail
• Rear: 1080p resolution for clear backup recording
• 170° front and 140° rear lens angles reduce blind spots

Can I view, share, and track footage from my phone?

Yes—connect your phone to the G840S over 5.8GHz Wi‑Fi using the WOLFBOX app (iOS/Android) to view live video, download clips, and share recordings quickly. The external GPS antenna provides real-time speed and location overlays on video and stores route data for later review. Wi‑Fi lets you pull event clips without removing the SD card.

• 5.8GHz Wi‑Fi for fast on-site transfers and live view
• WOLFBOX app for playback, downloads, and sharing
• External GPS antenna logs route and speed data on recordings

How does parking monitoring work and what do I need to enable it?

The G840S supports 24-hour parking monitoring to record incidents when the vehicle is parked; Time‑lapse mode conserves storage and power by recording at a low frame rate. For continuous parking surveillance you should install a hardwire kit (sold separately) so the camera has a stable low-voltage power source when the ignition is off. Loop recording ensures older files are overwritten, keeping storage available for new events.

• Parking monitor with Time‑lapse conserves power and space
• Hardwire kit required for full 24-hour surveillance
• Loop recording automatically manages storage usage

Who is this for: The WOLFBOX G840S suits drivers who want a large mirror display plus high-resolution recording—commuters, rideshare drivers, and owners of SUVs or larger vehicles who need broader rear coverage. It’s also useful for anyone who wants GPS-tagged footage and easy wireless access to video on a smartphone. If you plan to use continuous parking monitoring, budget for a compatible hardwire installation to get the most from the system.
