Wellness CORE+ Small Breed Dry Dog Food — Turkey & Chicken Grain‑Free Kibble with Freeze‑Dried Pieces, 4 lb

Wellness CORE+ Small Breed Adult Dry Dog Food is a grain-free, high-protein turkey and chicken kibble blended with 100% freeze-dried turkey pieces to deliver nutrient-dense meals tailored for small adult dogs.

This recipe combines concentrated animal proteins and targeted nutritional boosters in a compact, crunchy kibble plus freeze-dried bites that preserve flavor and raw nutrition. Designed for small-breed metabolisms, the formula emphasizes lean muscle support, digestibility, and skin-and-coat nutrients while avoiding common fillers like corn, wheat, and soy. The finished product is made in the U.S. using globally sourced ingredients and includes probiotics, glucosamine, omega fatty acids, and taurine to support everyday activity and wellbeing.

How does CORE+ help maintain muscle and body condition for small breeds?

CORE+ centers on high-quality animal proteins as the primary calorie source, which helps small dogs build and maintain lean body mass. The recipe balances protein density with calories appropriate for active small adult dogs, supporting energy without excess bulk.

• Primary turkey and chicken proteins to support muscle maintenance
• Concentrated calories in smaller kibble for tiny mouths
• Glucosamine included to support joint mobility during activity
• Formulated for leaner body composition and steady energy

What makes the freeze-dried pieces different from regular kibble?

The freeze-dried turkey pieces are prepared to lock in aroma and raw-protein character without cooking away delicate flavors. They add a savory flavor and texture contrast that increases palatability and offers bite-sized bursts of protein your dog can smell and taste.

• 100% raw turkey pieces, freeze-dried to preserve flavor
• Added palatability for picky eaters or low-appetite days
• Easy to mix with kibble for meal variety and interest
• No artificial colors or preservatives in the bites

How does this formula support digestive health and skin & coat?

Digestive support comes from added probiotics and a fiber-balanced kibble that helps maintain regularity for small-breed digestive systems. Skin and coat benefits are targeted through essential omega fatty acids and high-quality proteins that provide the amino acids necessary for healthy fur and skin resilience.

• Guaranteed probiotics for digestive balance
• Omega fatty acids to promote healthy skin and glossy coat
• Taurine included to support normal heart cell function
• No poultry by-products, artificial colors, or preservatives

Is this food suitable for dogs with grain sensitivities?

The CORE+ Small Breed recipe is formulated grain-free, excluding corn, wheat, and soy, which can be helpful for pets with grain sensitivities or owners choosing a grain-free diet. Note that the facility may process grains, so consult your veterinarian if your dog has a diagnosed allergy or severe sensitivity.

• Grain-free recipe without corn, wheat, or soy
• No poultry by-products or artificial additives
