WECK 743 Mold Jar 3/4‑Liter Wide-Mouth Glass Jars — Set of 2 with Lids, Gaskets & Clips

The WECK 743 Mold Jar (Weck 743) is a classic, thick‑walled glass jar designed for preserving, storing and serving foods. Each package includes two 3/4-liter wide‑mouth jars plus removable lids, rubber gaskets and small glass clamp clips so you can seal or open each component independently. Because the jar, lid and gasket separate, pouring, washing and organizing are straightforward while the durable glass stands up to everyday kitchen use.

How does the WECK 743 make preserving and storing easier?

The wide mouth and separate lid system simplify filling, straining and cleaning. The thick glass is heat‑resistant for handling warm preserves and the removable gasket and clip let you control the seal without forcing parts together.

• Wide 3/4‑liter opening for easy jar filling and scooping
• Separate lid and gasket make washing and drying faster
• Small glass clamp clip provides a secure, adjustable seal
• Heat‑resistant glass tolerates hot liquids and rinses

What foods and uses are best suited to this jar?

These jars are versatile for both pantry and fridge items: think preserves, pickles, dry goods and prepared foods. They also work well for portioning, displaying and gift packaging because the clear glass showcases color and texture.

• Jams, jellies and fruit preserves
• Pickled vegetables and sauces
• Dry goods like pulses, grains and spices
• Cold beverages, layered salads and food gifting

Is the WECK 743 safe for dishwasher and microwave use?

The jar body is made from sturdy glass that is dishwasher‑safe and can handle microwave use; lids and gaskets should be cared for according to WECK recommendations. Separating the components reduces heat stress during cleaning and helps each piece dry properly.

• Jar body: dishwasher and microwave safe
• Rubber gasket: remove before high‑heat or microwave use when instructed
• Glass clamp clips: hand‑wash recommended to preserve finish
• Separate parts: easier to inspect and maintain for long life

How does the seal mechanism work and how airtight is it?

The WECK system uses a glass lid plus a rubber gasket and a small glass clamp clip to form a tight seal; the gasket compresses between lid and jar rim while the clip holds components in place. This arrangement creates an effective barrier for everyday storage and short‑term preservation.

• Rubber gasket creates a compressible seal around the rim
• Glass clamp clip secures lid against the gasket without metal parts
• Separate parts allow visual inspection of gasket integrity
• Good for refrigerated storage and non‑pressure canning styles

Who is this for: The WECK 743 Mold Jar set is ideal for home cooks, small‑batch preservers, artisanal food makers and anyone who prefers reusable glass containers that are easy to fill, clean and display. If you need a versatile, clear container for jams, pickles, pantry ingredients, gifts or everyday storage that combines traditional sealing with modern convenience, these 3/4‑liter jars fit neatly on shelves, in fridges and in gift baskets.
