Waretary Cat Litter Mat — 36 x 30 in Grey, Waterproof Double-Layer Honeycomb for Scatter Control

Waretary's 36"x30" waterproof cat litter mat is an extra-large, double-layer EVA mat with a honeycomb top that traps tracked litter and resists liquids to keep floors cleaner.

If you put a litter box on a hard floor, tracked granules and dust can quickly spread around the room. Waretary designed this oversized grey mat to sit beneath the box and capture stray pellets, clumping litter and crystals as your cat exits, while its waterproof base protects surfaces from accidental moisture. The mat is made with a soft, paw-friendly EVA top and a sealed lower layer so cleanup is faster and less frequent than sweeping alone.

How does the double-layer design stop litter from spreading?

The mat’s honeycomb top contains large 10 mm holes that let litter fall through to a bottom reservoir instead of scattering across the floor. That two-tier layout separates debris from paw traffic so particles stay contained until you empty the mat.

• Honeycomb top captures and funnels litter into the lower tray.
• Large holes accept clumping, crystal, pellet and clay litters alike.
• Raised surface keeps paws comfortable while reducing tracked dust.
• Open-edge hinge allows easy lifting to access trapped litter.

Can I clean the mat quickly and without damage?

Yes — the EZ Open edge is designed so one side remains connected while the rest separates for fast emptying. The mat is water-resistant and washes clean under a faucet, shower head, or with a damp cloth and dries rapidly thanks to the EVA material.

• Lift the top layer and pour trapped litter back or into the bin.
• Rinse under a sink or shower; air-dry for quick reuse.
• Durable EVA resists tearing and holds shape after washing.
• Check perimeter nylon border for absorbed moisture and dry if needed.

Will this protect my floor from spills and urine?

The bottom layer is waterproof to block most liquid from reaching underlying surfaces, helping prevent staining and unpleasant odors on hard floors. For cats that urinate heavily, adding absorbent puppy pads under the mat is recommended to manage excess moisture and preserve the nylon edge.

• Waterproof lower layer prevents surface penetration.
• Use additional pads for very messy or incontinent cats.
• Regular inspection avoids prolonged moisture contact with the nylon border.
• Suitable for tile, laminate, vinyl and sealed wood floors.

Is this mat the right size and material for my home and cat?

At 36" x 30", the mat covers a large area to accommodate single or multiple litter boxes and gives nervous cats a comfortable stepping surface. The soft EVA material protects paws while maintaining structural durability for everyday use.

• Extra-large footprint fits most standard litter boxes with room to spare.
• Soft EVA surface is gentle on paws yet resilient to scratching.
• Neutral grey color blends with many home decors.
• Lightweight for easy moving and placement around the house.
