VTech KidiZoom Smartwatch DX4 Kids Smartwatch — Blue, Dual Cameras & Splash‑Proof Metal Case, Rechargeable

The VTech KidiZoom Smartwatch DX4 in Blue is a full-featured kids' smartwatch with dual cameras, a high-resolution screen, splash-proof metal casing, creative apps and activity games.

This compact wearable blends play and learning: two built-in cameras let children take photos and videos with fun effects, while motion games, a music composer and more encourage movement and creativity. The DX4 offers multiple language settings (English, Spanish, French), a rechargeable battery, and a sturdy watchband designed for everyday kid use. Downloadable content from VTech's Learning Lodge expands activities and clock faces to keep the experience fresh.

How does the KidiZoom DX4 make photos and videos fun for kids?

The watch includes two cameras positioned to capture selfies and outward scenes so kids can personalize images and short clips. Built-in effects, filters and the option to set a photo as the clock face make creative editing immediate and entertaining without extra apps.

• Dual cameras for selfies and forward-facing shots
• On-device effects and filters to modify photos and videos
• Set captured images as custom watch faces
• High-resolution display for clear previews and playback

Will the DX4 stand up to active play and outdoor use?

The smartwatch uses a splash-proof metal casing and a durable band to resist everyday spills and outdoor energy, making it suitable for general active play. It includes motion-based games and step counting that reward movement, though it's not fully submersible and should not be used for swimming.

• Splash-proof metal body for better impact and moisture resistance
• Activity and reaction games designed to get kids moving
• Step-tracking features to monitor active playtime
• Durable, kid-friendly watchband for daily wear

What educational features help children learn to tell time?

The DX4 combines interactive clock faces and voice features to make learning to read time approachable for young users. It ships with more than fifty built-in clock styles and the option to download additional faces, plus a shake-to-hear-time function that reinforces listening and recognition skills.

• 50+ built-in clock faces with different formats and visuals
• Shake-to-hear-the-time voice function for auditory learning
• Additional downloadable clock faces from the Learning Lodge
• Language choices (English, Spanish, French) to support multilingual households

How is battery life handled and what do I need to charge it safely?

The KidiZoom DX4 includes a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and comes with a micro-USB cable for recharging. VTech recommends charging only with the included cable and avoiding third-party adapters to protect the device and battery performance.

• Built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery
