Vornado 660 Large Air Circulator Fan — Black, 4-Speed, 90° Tilt for Whole-Room Circulation

The Vornado 660 is a powerful whole-room air circulator that uses Vornado's signature vortex technology to move air up to 100 feet for steady, room-wide cooling.

Designed as a floor or tabletop unit, the Vornado 660 combines high air-moving performance with a compact, stylish profile in gloss black. Four push-button speeds let you go from whisper-quiet to strong circulation, while a chrome glide bar provides a 90-degree tilt so you can aim airflow precisely. The grill and blades are engineered to work together—deep-pitched blades, an inlet guide cone, and a spiral grill—producing continuous circulation rather than a simple directed breeze. At 13.5" x 15" x 11.75", it fits in bedrooms, offices, dorms, and living rooms where steady, efficient airflow matters.

How does the Vornado 660 circulate air differently than a standard fan?

Instead of just blowing air in one direction, the 660 creates a vortex that pushes air across an entire room, returning it to be recirculated repeatedly. This produces more even temperatures and reduces hot or still spots without needing multiple units.

• Vortex circulation reaches up to 100 feet for whole-room coverage.
• Deep-pitched blades and spiral grill maximize airflow efficiency.
• Continuous recirculation evens temperature distribution.

What control and adjustment options does this fan offer?

Simple push-button controls on top give you four distinct speed settings for quick changes between quiet and powerful airflow. The chrome glide bar lets you tilt the head up to 90 degrees, so you can direct circulation at occupants, ceilings, or across open floor plans.

• Four push-button speed settings for precise control.
• 90-degree tilt via chrome glide bar for directional airflow.
• Compact footprint fits on floors, tabletops, and small corners.

How easy is maintenance and daily use?

The Vornado 660 was made for practical, everyday operation: the front grill is removable for fast cleaning and the robust construction is backed by Vornado support. Plug into any standard U.S. outlet for immediate use—no setup beyond placing and plugging in.

• High-gloss front grill removes easily for cleaning.
• Durable components designed and supported in Andover, KS.
• Built to U.S. voltage and safety standards; simple plug-in operation.

What performance can I expect in different rooms?

Expect stronger, steadier airflow than typical desk fans, suitable for bedrooms, offices, and medium-to-large living areas. The unit balances quiet operation on low speeds with ample force on higher settings to improve comfort without excessive noise.

• Quiet low-speed setting for nighttime or focused work.
• High-speed output for faster cooling and improved room circulation.
• Effective in bedrooms, dorms, offices, and open living spaces.

Who is this for? The Vornado 660 is ideal for anyone who wants efficient whole-room airflow from a single, versatile unit: apartment dwellers, office workers, students in dorms, and families seeking a durable fan that blends performance with a compact, attractive design. If you prioritize steady circulation, easy maintenance, and adjustable control in a plug-and-play fan that meets U.S. voltage standards, the 660 is built for your space and daily needs.
