VIVOSUN Seedling Heat Mat and Digital Thermostat Combo 10" x 20.75" — Waterproof PVC, Low‑Watt 20W for Faster Germination

This kit combines a low-wattage PVC heat mat and an easy-to-read thermostat to give seeds, cuttings, and young plants consistent bottom warmth without high energy use. The mat uses far-infrared heating and multiple insulation layers to distribute heat evenly, while the thermostat lets you set and maintain target temperatures for trays, pots, or humidity domes. The mat's waterproof surface and flexible construction make it simple to clean, roll away, and reuse season after season.

How does the heat mat improve germination and rooting?

Providing consistent bottom heat speeds up soil warming, which can shorten the time seeds take to sprout and help cuttings form roots. The mat's far-infrared output gently raises the root zone temperature without scorching, creating a favorable microclimate beneath trays and domes.

• Creates a warm root-zone range around 68–86°F (20–30°C)
• Even heat from reinforced heating film prevents hot spots
• Works with humidity domes to maintain moisture and dew

Can I control and monitor temperature precisely?

The included digital thermostat lets you set a target temperature and maintain it automatically, so seedlings stay within the desired range. Its clear display and simple controls reduce guesswork for repeatable propagation results.

• Thermostat supports exact setpoint regulation for stable conditions
• Auto on/off cycles prevent overheating and save energy
• Suitable for trays, flats, and small propagation setups

Is the mat safe and durable for repeated use?

Constructed from flexible PVC with double-insulated heating layers, the mat meets rugged use requirements and resists wear from routine cleaning. An IP67-rated surface helps protect the internal elements from spills and makes wiping off potting mix or water hassle-free.

• Soft, flexible material withstands rolling and storage
• IP67 waterproofing lets you clean the surface safely (do not submerge)
• Low 20-watt draw minimizes electricity cost while running

What other uses does this combo support beyond seedlings?

Though built for propagation, the low-profile mat and thermostat are versatile tools around the home and hobby spaces. Use it for terrariums, homebrewing temperature control, or keeping potted tropicals cozy during cooler periods.

• Supports terrarium or reptile plate warming where safe
• Helps maintain fermentation temperatures for brewing projects
• Compact size fits under small planters, trays, or benches

Who is this for: This VIVOSUN heat mat and thermostat set is aimed at hobby and small-scale growers who want an efficient, durable way to improve germination, speed up rooting, or maintain stable microclimates. It's a good match for gardeners starting seeds indoors, propagation enthusiasts, and anyone needing low-wattage, reliable bottom heat for trays, domes, or small specialized uses.
