VETRISCIENCE Calm & Confident Chews for Dogs, Chicken 120 Count — Fast-Acting Non-Sedative Anxiety Support

VetriScience Calm & Confident are chicken-flavored, bite-sized chews formulated to help dogs handle situational stress quickly and comfortably.

These veterinarian-developed chews combine naturally derived ingredients — including a colostrum blend, l-theanine, and vitamin B1 — in a tasty chicken treat made in the USA. Clinically studied for rapid onset, the formula is intended to reduce signs of anxiety during events like car rides, vet visits, thunderstorms, and separation periods without causing sedation. NASC-certified and routinely third-party tested, these chews aim to support calm behavior while being safe for regular or as-needed use.

How fast do these chews start to work and how long do effects typically last?

VetriScience Calm & Confident has been evaluated in clinical settings for quick action. Many pet owners report observable changes within roughly 30 minutes, with benefits that can continue for several hours depending on the dog and situation.

• Typical onset: about 30 minutes after administration.
• Duration: effects may last up to around four hours for situational events.
• Dosage can be adjusted (within label guidance) for increased stress or repeated exposure.

Can I give these chews to my dog every day or only for specific events?

The formula is designed for both occasional situational use and ongoing management when recommended by your veterinarian. Because the chews are non-sedative, many owners use them as a daily supplement for calmer behavior or as needed for acute stressors.

• Safe for short-term, situational use like travel and fireworks.
• Appropriate for daily use when monitoring tolerance and following package directions.
• Veterinary guidance is advised for long-term behavior strategies or medical interactions.

What ingredients are included and are there any artificial additives?

The Calm & Confident recipe focuses on recognizable, functional ingredients such as a colostrum blend to support cognitive calm, l-theanine for relaxation support, and vitamin B1 for nervous system health. The product is manufactured without synthetic colors, artificial flavors, or hidden additives.

• Key actives: colostrum blend, l-theanine, vitamin B1.
• No artificial flavors, synthetic colors, or undisclosed ingredients.
• NASC certification and third-party testing help verify quality controls.

How should I give these chews and can I increase the dose for severe anxiety?

The chews are flavorful and bite-sized to encourage voluntary consumption; follow the dosing chart on the package for weight-based guidance. In periods of heightened stress, the instructions allow for temporarily increasing the dose, but significant or persistent anxiety should be discussed with your veterinarian.

• Administer by mouth as a treat about 30 minutes before a stressful event.
• Follow weight-based dosing on the label and consult your vet for adjustments.
• Double or triple doses are indicated in short-term, high-stress scenarios per product guidance.

Who is this for: pet owners seeking a vet-developed, non-sedating calming aid for dogs of most ages and breeds who want a palatable, fast-acting option for situational anxiety or ongoing behavioral support. If your dog has complex medical conditions or takes medications, check with your veterinarian before starting any new supplement.
