Vetnique Glandex for Dogs Anal Gland Powder — Beef Flavor 5.5 oz, Fiber & Probiotics to Reduce Scooting

Vetnique Glandex Anal Gland Powder for Dogs is a daily beef-flavored fiber and probiotic topper designed to firm stool and support natural anal gland expression, reducing scooting and fishy odor.

This veterinarian-formulated powder combines pumpkin seed, apple pectin, probiotics, enzymes and antioxidants in a convenient scoop-and-sprinkle formula. Designed to be mixed with regular food, it aims to improve stool consistency so the anal glands can empty during normal bowel movements. The product is made in the USA and comes in a 5.5 oz container with an easy dosing chart by weight.

How quickly will I notice less scooting?

Individual results vary, but many dog owners report observable improvement within a few weeks of consistent daily use. Stool consistency gradually firms as the fiber blend takes effect, which helps the glands empty during regular bowel movements.

• Typical timeline: improvements often seen in 3–5 weeks when used daily.
• Requires steady use—skip days can delay progress.
• Works best alongside regular veterinary care for recurring issues.

What exactly is inside the powder and how does it work?

Glandex combines multiple mechanisms to support digestive and gland function without invasive procedures. Pumpkin seed and apple pectin add bulk to stool, a probiotic strain supports gut flora, enzymes aid digestion, and antioxidants help address local irritation.

• Pumpkin powder & apple pectin: bulks and firms stool for natural gland expression.
• Lactobacillus acidophilus (1.9 billion CFU): supports a balanced gut microbiome.
• Bromelain: digestive enzyme to assist nutrient absorption.
• Quercetin plus vitamins E & C: antioxidant support for comfort and local tissue health.

How do I dose Vetnique Glandex for my dog?

Dosing is weight-based and measured in small teaspoons to make daily use simple. Sprinkle the powder over your dog’s meal once per day; it’s safe for puppies 12 weeks and older as well as adult and senior dogs.

• Under 15 lb: 1/8 teaspoon per day.
• 15–25 lb: 1/4 teaspoon per day.
• 26–50 lb: 1/2 teaspoon per day.
• 51–75 lb: 3/4 teaspoon per day; Over 75 lb: 1 teaspoon per day.

Can Vetnique Glandex be used with other products or for different breeds?

Glandex is formulated to complement routine feeding and is compatible with many other support products, but always check with your veterinarian about combined treatments. The powder is suitable for small, medium and large breeds, including flat-faced breeds prone to anal gland issues like French Bulldogs, Pugs and Bulldogs.

• Available in beef liver flavor; also offered in pork liver and salmon variants.
• Pairs well with Glandex soft chews, wipes, or sprays for multi-pronged care.
• Safe for long-term daily use per label guidance, under vet supervision as needed.
