Vetnique Glandex Anal Gland Chews for Dogs, 60ct Pumpkin + Enzymes — Firms Stool & Supports Gland Health

Vetnique Glandex Anal Gland Chews are a daily supplement designed to support healthy anal gland function by firming stool and promoting regular gland emptying with pumpkin fiber, probiotics, enzymes and quercetin.

Glandex is made for dogs that drag, scoot, or have a recurring fishy odor linked to full or under-expressed anal glands. Formulated by veterinarians, these soft chews combine natural fibers, beneficial microbes, digestive enzymes and flavonoid support to help stools reach the consistency that encourages natural gland expression. The flavor profile (peanut butter or bacon) keeps picky dogs interested while the chew format is easy to dose by weight.

How quickly can I expect to see improvement in scooting or fishy smells?

Most pet owners observe changes within a few weeks as stool consistency improves and glands empty more effectively. Timing varies with each dog’s diet, gut health and current gland condition, so consistent daily dosing is important for best results.

• Typical timeline: improvements often in 3–5 weeks.
• Daily administration is recommended for persistent issues.
• Works alongside regular veterinary care—not a substitute for urgent treatment.

What exactly is inside each chew and why those ingredients?

Every chew layers ingredients chosen to address stool bulk, gut balance and digestion. Pumpkin seed and apple pectin provide soluble and insoluble fibers, probiotics support healthy intestinal flora, bromelain aids protein digestion, and quercetin offers antioxidant-style support alongside vitamins E and C.

• Pumpkin & apple pectin: helps form firmer, consistent stools.
• Lactobacillus acidophilus (480M CFU): supports a balanced gut microbiome.
• Bromelain enzymes: assist in breaking down proteins for digestion.
• Quercetin + vitamins E & C: complementary support for the formula.

How should I dose Glandex for my dog and are there safety notes?

Dosing is weight-based for straightforward daily use: half a chew for small dogs up to one chew for medium dogs and multiple chews for larger breeds. These soft chews are shelf-stable and suitable for puppies 12 weeks and older, but always check with your veterinarian before starting any new supplement.

• Under 15 lb: 1/2 chew daily.
• ~25 lb: 1 chew; 50 lb: 2 chews; 75 lb: 3 chews; over 75 lb: 4 chews.
• Intended for regular, ongoing use; consult your vet for special health conditions.

Can Glandex be used with other anal care products or medications?

Glandex is designed to integrate with a broader anal gland care routine and pairs well with topical products for odor control or irritation relief. Because each dog’s health profile is different, coordinate with your veterinarian if your dog is on prescription medications or has a diagnosed condition.

• Works alongside Glandex wipes and spray for complete daily maintenance.
• Complementary to dietary adjustments and vet-directed treatments.
• Check interactions with prescription meds with your vet first.

Who this product fits: Vetnique Glandex is for pet parents seeking a non-invasive, daily supplement to help dogs that scoot, drag, or emit a persistent fishy odor—common signs of full or poorly expressed anal glands. It’s suitable for puppies (12+ weeks), adult dogs and seniors across breeds, including brachycephalic types like Bulldogs and Pugs. Use it as part of a consistent care plan alongside veterinary guidance for the best outcomes.
