VANILLA BEAN PROJECT Organic Vanilla Bean Paste for Baking, 4 oz — Concentrated Seeded Paste with Real Vanilla Specks

Vanilla Bean Project Organic Vanilla Bean Paste is a concentrated, seeded vanilla blend that delivers true-to-bean flavor and visual flecks for baking, desserts, and culinary use.

This 4 oz jar combines organic vanilla extract with ground vanilla seeds to offer both intense aroma and those familiar black specks that signal real vanilla. Made by a family-owned company that sources responsibly, the paste is crafted through a slow extraction process and balanced with natural thickener for easy measurement, smooth incorporation, and long shelf life.

How does this vanilla paste improve homemade desserts?

The paste imparts a richer, deeper vanilla taste than plain extract and adds the appealing look of whole-bean specks in creams, custards, frostings, and doughs. Because it’s concentrated, a small amount boosts flavor without altering recipe moisture significantly.

• Provides visible vanilla seeds for an artisanal finish
• Concentrated flavor reduces the quantity needed per recipe
• Suits cold preparations where alcohol-based extract may be less desirable
• Incorporates smoothly into batters, custards, and frostings

What are the ingredients and allergen profile?

The paste blends organic vanilla bean extract, ground beans, sugar, water, and a natural gum (tragacanth) to achieve the proper texture and stability. It’s formulated without artificial colors, flavors, or corn syrup and is labeled Non-GMO, Kosher, and Gluten-Free.

• All-Natural ingredients and no artificial additives
• Free from common allergens and gluten
• Non-GMO and Kosher certification for broader dietary needs
• Contains sugar and a natural gum for consistency

How should I use and store this vanilla bean paste?

Use a teaspoon or tablespoon depending on recipe intensity—start small and adjust to taste. Store the sealed jar in a cool, dark place; refrigeration is optional but can extend freshness after opening.

• Substitute paste for extract at roughly a 1:1 to 1:2 ratio depending on desired strength
• Stir before measuring to distribute vanilla seeds evenly
• Keep jar tightly closed away from heat and direct light
• If refrigerated, allow to warm briefly for easier scooping

Why choose Vanilla Bean Project’s organic paste over other options?

The product emphasizes authentic bean flavor through a careful, slow extraction and inclusion of whole-bean particles for both aroma and texture. The family-owned maker highlights traceability and support for vanilla-growing communities, offering a premium pantry ingredient without artificial fillers.

• Slow, gentle manufacturing to preserve nuanced vanilla notes
• Organic certification and visible ground bean content
• Clean label with no corn syrup or artificial colors
