Vacu Vin Original Wine Pump with 2 Black Vacuum Stoppers — Manual Wine Saver, Airtight Seal to Preserve Flavor

The Vacu Vin Original Wine Pump is a handheld vacuum pump and two reusable stoppers that remove air from opened wine bottles to slow oxidation and preserve aroma and flavor.

Keep an opened bottle tasting closer to the moment you uncorked it: the Vacu Vin Wine Pump creates an airtight vacuum seal so red and white wines last longer after opening. Lightweight and simple to use, the manual pump requires no batteries or electricity and tucks away neatly in a drawer or on a bar cart. The set includes two matching black vacuum stoppers compatible with most standard wine bottles.

How do I use the Vacu Vin pump to preserve an opened bottle?

Using the Vacu Vin pump is straightforward and fast. Insert one of the stoppers into the bottle neck, place the pump over the stopper, and pump until you hear the patented click indicating an airtight seal. To open the bottle again, simply remove the stopper.

• Insert stopper into bottle neck until it seats firmly.
• Place pump over the stopper and pump 4–8 times until the click sounds.
• Store the sealed bottle upright in a cool, dark place or refrigerator as appropriate.

How long will wine stay fresh with this wine saver?

The Vacu Vin pump reduces air exposure to slow the chemical reactions that change wine after opening, helping flavor and aroma hold up for multiple days. While results vary by wine type and storage conditions, many users notice a difference for several days up to about a week. It’s ideal for preserving half-full bottles or tasting pours across a few days.

• Preserves wines longer than leaving bottles open—often several days to a week.
• Best results when bottles are chilled (white/rosé) or stored cool (red).
• Not a permanent preservation method—use within recommended timeframe for best taste.

Will the stoppers fit my wine bottles and are they reusable?

The two included vacuum stoppers are designed to fit most standard wine bottles and can be reused indefinitely with rinsing and drying. The pump also works with other Vacu Vin stoppers if you already own them, and replacement stoppers are widely available for different bottle types. Clean by hand with mild soap and water; avoid dishwashers to prolong the rubber seal.

• Two reusable black stoppers included; fits typical bottle necks.
• Pump compatible with additional Vacu Vin stoppers sold separately.
• Handwash recommended to protect the rubber sealing surface.

What makes this pump different from electric wine preservers?

The Vacu Vin Original is a manual solution: no batteries, cords, or charging required. That simplicity makes it portable, compact, and reliable for home, picnics, or travel. The audible click confirms a good vacuum seal without technical setup, and the minimalist design stores easily in a drawer or bar kit.

• Manual operation—no electricity or replacement batteries needed.
• Compact, lightweight design for easy storage and travel.
• Clear click signal that the vacuum seal is achieved.
