Vacplus Hanging Moisture Absorber 9.8 oz — Unscented Closet Dehumidifier with Visible Reservoir

Keep closets, bathrooms, laundry rooms and small storage areas free of damp and musty smells with a compact, energy-free solution. The Vacplus hanging moisture absorber uses spherical calcium chloride granules inside a one-way permeable packet to pull moisture from the air and channel the liquid into a built-in collection pouch. Because it is unscented and simple to hang, it’s useful for spaces where airflow is limited and electronic dehumidifiers are impractical.

How quickly will this Vacplus bag reduce moisture in a closet?

The calcium chloride formula draws water from air gradually; results depend on room humidity and ventilation. In moderately damp closets you should see water forming in the reservoir within a few days, with peak absorption over several weeks until the packet is spent.

• Visible reservoir shows collected water day by day for easy monitoring.
• Large 500 ml capacity reduces the need for frequent replacement.
• Works best in enclosed spaces like closets, wardrobes, and cabinets.

Is the Vacplus absorber safe to use near fabrics, shoes, and stored items?

The product is designed to protect textiles and stored belongings by lowering surrounding humidity without heat or electricity. The outer packet is moisture-permeable while keeping the absorbent granules contained; place the bag so the reservoir sits below the packet to collect liquid safely.

• Unscented formula avoids transferring fragrances onto fabrics.
• Hanging design keeps the unit off direct contact with items.
• Plastic reservoir prevents leaks when used upright as instructed.

Where can I hang the Vacplus hanging dehumidifier for best performance?

Position the bag in small, enclosed or low-ventilation areas where moisture accumulates. Hang it from a rod, hook, or shelf inside closets, inside RV cabinets, bathrooms, basements, or near laundry and shoe storage to capture localized humidity before it affects items.

• Ideal locations: closets, bathrooms, basements, laundry rooms, refrigerators, RVs and boats.
• Keep reservoir below the packet and avoid placing directly on fabrics.
• Replace when the granules dissolve and the reservoir fills or absorption slows.

How long does one Vacplus 9.8 oz packet last and how do I dispose of it?

Longevity varies by humidity level: in very damp conditions it will fill faster, while in drier rooms it lasts longer. When the calcium chloride granules have dissolved and the reservoir is full or no longer collecting moisture, the unit should be replaced and the liquid disposed of according to local waste guidance.

• Typical life ranges from several weeks to a couple of months depending on conditions.
• Monitor the visible reservoir to know when absorption slows or finishes.
• Follow local disposal rules for the collected solution and used packet.
