Vacplus Hanging Moisture Absorber 9.8 oz Linen Scent — Compact Dehumidifier for Closets & RVs, Visible Reservoir

Vacplus Moisture Absorber is a hanging dehumidifier packet filled with calcium chloride that captures excess humidity and collects liquid into a visible reservoir while leaving a light linen scent.

Humidity can damage clothing, encourage musty odors, and cause condensation in small enclosed spaces. The Vacplus 9.8 oz hanging moisture absorber is designed for closets, bathrooms, laundry rooms, RVs and other tight areas where traditional dehumidifiers won’t fit. It uses spherical calcium chloride crystals and a one-way moisture-permeable paper to pull water from the air and channel the collected liquid into a clear bottom pouch you can monitor.

How quickly will this remove dampness from a closet or bathroom?

The Vacplus packet starts attracting moisture soon after it is placed and hung in a confined space; performance depends on room size and humidity level. In small, enclosed spots like closets or linen cabinets you should notice condensation in the reservoir within a few days under moderate humidity. For larger or extremely damp rooms the process takes longer and multiple packs may be required.

• 9.8 oz (about 500 ml capacity per pack) designed for compact spaces
• Spherical calcium chloride crystals provide fast moisture capture
• Visible water collection in the bottom pouch so you can track progress

Is the product safe to use around clothing and stored items?

Yes — the design separates the active crystals from fabrics using a one-way moisture-permeable paper layer and a sealed reservoir that holds the dissolved solution. Place the hanging packet at least an inch away from garments and avoid direct contact with valuable or delicate textiles. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and follow disposal instructions when the packet is full.

• One-way permeable paper prevents crystal leakage onto clothing
• Clear collection pouch reduces spill risk and shows when it’s full
• Linen-scent option helps maintain a fresh-smelling space without sprays

Where should I hang or place the Vacplus Moisture Absorber for best results?

Hang the packet in the most enclosed section of the room — inside closets, lockers, or on a rod in a laundry area — to maximize airflow through the absorber while keeping it away from direct airflow that could slow collection. For refrigerators, small cabinets, boats or RVs, attach the hanger to a beam or shelf at mid-height. Replace or remove the unit once the bottom reservoir is full and the crystals have dissolved into liquid.

• Designed for hanging: closets, bathrooms, laundry rooms, RVs, boats
• Works best in small, enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces
• Monitor the clear reservoir and replace when fully collected

What maintenance and disposal steps should I follow?

Maintenance is minimal: check the transparent bottom pouch periodically and replace the packet when the crystals have turned to liquid and the reservoir is full. Dispose of the used liquid and empty packet per local waste guidelines; avoid pouring concentrated solution into sinks or drains without diluting. Do not ingets or open the packet; the calcium chloride solution can irritate skin and surfaces until rinsed away.

• Inspect collection pouch every few days in high humidity
• Replace when solid crystals have dissolved and reservoir is full
• Follow local disposal rules and keep away from children and pets

Who is this for? The Vacplus 9.8 oz hanging moisture absorber is ideal for anyone needing compact, chemical moisture control in small, enclosed areas: homeowners protecting seasonal clothing, renters managing bathroom or basement humidity, RV owners reducing condensation, and anyone who wants a low-maintenance way to prevent musty smells. It’s a practical option when space, energy use, or noise rules out electric dehumidifiers and a fresh linen scent is preferred over sprays.
