Utopia Bedding Waterproof Zippered Mattress Protector Queen Size 14" Deep Pocket Full-Zip Bed-Bug Resistant

Utopia Bedding’s Waterproof Zippered Mattress Protector is a fully encasing, bed-bug-resistant and waterproof queen-size cover with a 14" deep pocket and secure zip closure.

This mattress encasement is built to protect a standard Queen mattress (60" x 80") from spills, stains, dust mites and bed bugs while preserving breathability and a quiet, comfortable sleep surface. The knitted top fabric delivers a soft hand-feel that limits heat retention, and the full zipper design seals the mattress for complete coverage. It’s machine washable for easy upkeep and engineered to fit mattresses up to 14 inches deep without bunching or shifting.

How does the zippered design protect my mattress all around?

The full zip enclosure provides 360-degree protection by sealing the sides, top and bottom of the mattress so dust, allergens and pests can’t slip through exposed seams. The zipper closes flush and the fabric panels overlap to minimize gaps. This style is more secure than fitted-sheet protectors and is ideal when comprehensive protection is the priority.

• Full-wrap zipper keeps the mattress fully enclosed
• Overlapping zipper flap reduces gap exposure
• Seams engineered to resist bed bugs and dust mites
• Fits mattresses up to 14" deep without tearing

Will this protector stay comfortable and not trap heat?

Yes — the protector uses a smooth knitted fabric on the sleeping surface that feels soft and reduces noise when you shift in bed. The material is breathable and designed to let air flow through instead of retaining body heat like some vinyl covers. It provides a balance of protective performance and sleep comfort.

• Soft knitted top for quiet, comfortable sleep
• Breathable construction to encourage airflow
• Low-profile feel that won’t change mattress firmness
• Works with existing sheets and bedding layers

How easy is care and maintenance for the protector?

The protector is machine washable and dryer friendly, making routine cleaning simple and fast. Stains and spills wipe away easily and the waterproof backing prevents liquids from reaching the mattress. Regular washing keeps allergens low and preserves the protective barrier.

• Machine wash cold on gentle cycle
• Tumble dry low or air dry to preserve fit
• Waterproof backing blocks spills from reaching mattress
• Resists stains and is easy to spot-clean between washes

How does the 14" deep pocket ensure a good fit?

The extra-deep 14" pocket accommodates thicker mattresses, pillow-tops and mattress toppers without stretching or pulling the cover off corners. A secure fit prevents bunching and movement so the encasement remains sealed and comfortable night after night. This depth keeps the zipper positioned where it belongs and maintains a smooth sleep surface.

• Designed for Queen mattresses measuring 60" x 80"
• 14" depth fits tall mattresses and toppers
• Elastic-like fit reduces movement and slipping
• Maintains zipper alignment for continuous protection
