Utopia Bedding King Size Waterproof Mattress Protector — Deep Pocket 17", Soft Terry Top & TPU Backing

Utopia Bedding Waterproof King Size Mattress Protector is a soft, breathable fitted protector with TPU waterproof backing designed to shield king mattresses up to 17" deep without changing sleep feel.

Keep your mattress clean and dry with a protector built for real beds: generous 78" x 80" coverage, deep pockets for mattresses up to 17 inches, and a quiet terry top that feels like a sheet rather than a crinkly barrier. This protector combines a plush blended surface with a durable, liquid-proof layer beneath, delivering reliable protection while preserving the comfort and airflow of your mattress.

How does this protector keep liquids out without feeling noisy or stiff?

The protector uses a high-quality TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) backing that blocks liquids but stays flexible and quiet under movement. The top surface is a soft blended terry that absorbs spills and moisture before the backing stops passage to the mattress.

• TPU backing provides reliable waterproofing without crinkling.
• Absorbent terry top quickly wicks minor spills and perspiration.
• Seam construction reduces leak points around the edges.

Will it fit my thick king mattress and stay in place all night?

This protector is cut to king mattress dimensions (78" x 80") and includes deep fitted pockets with an all-around elastic band to secure mattresses up to 17" deep. Professionally turned hems and tailored corners help the cover hug the mattress without slipping or bunching.

• Fits mattresses up to 17 inches deep with secure elastic all around.
• Tailored hems and deep pockets for a snug, non-slip fit.
• Designed to stay put under sheets and during nightly movement.

How do I care for the protector so it lasts longer?

Care is simple: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low to maintain the terry surface and waterproof backing. Avoid bleach, ironing, and fabric softeners, which can degrade the TPU barrier and affect absorbency.

• Machine wash cold, gentle cycle to preserve fabric and backing.
• Tumble dry low; do not iron or bleach.
• Skip fabric softener to protect waterproof performance.

What comfort differences should I expect compared with no protector?

The terry top gives a soft, slightly cushioned feel that’s more comfortable than plastic-backed protectors and won’t significantly alter pillow-top or memory foam sensations. Breathable construction helps regulate airflow so sleeping temperature remains close to your mattress’s normal feel.

• Soft terry surface adds gentle cushioning without changing pressure relief.
• Quiet, flexible backing avoids the plastic sound common in cheaper protectors.
• Breathable design helps minimize heat buildup compared to sealed vinyl covers.

Who this is for: ideal for anyone with a king mattress up to 17" deep who wants reliable waterproof protection without sacrificing comfort—perfect for families, pet owners, allergy-conscious sleepers, or anyone seeking to extend mattress life. It’s also suited to people who want easy care and a low-profile fit beneath fitted sheets, delivering protection that stays discreet yet dependable.
